Hi Avaryana, please tell us a little about you?
Hello! My name is Avaryana Rose, I am 18 years old. I do acting and modeling and I currently live in Florida.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Shy, Compassionate, Caring
Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
Definitely my parents. They’ve raised me to be the woman I am today, and I’m extremely grateful for them and everything they’ve done for me.
How and when did you start into modeling?
I started when I was 12, completely by chance. I went to a casting call for fun (not expecting anything), and actually made it into the look book for the brand!
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Seeing the clothing you’ve modeled come to life is very rewarding. I love turning someone’s vision into a reality. The long hours of work are probably the least rewarding.
Can you name a few of the brands you are working or have worked with?
I’ve worked with Goli, BoutineLA, Youtube, and many others.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
I learned to take a step back and reevaluate myself. Sometimes it’s easy to get carried away in this industry, so it’s good to take a break.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
For me, if the room is super cold the pictures won’t turn out well! I think there is something about being cold that makes you look stiff in the photos.
What’s your advice for the newer models and influencers?
Don’t let what other people say get to you! You are amazing, and perfect in your own way. Always follow your heart, and gut; if something doesn’t feel right, it’s probably not!
How did you get started into acting?
I started acting through a friend in 2020.
What is the best and worst part of being an actress?
The best part about being an actress is definitely being able to play a range of characters. I love how fun it is to be someone completely different.
How do you prepare for a role?
I like to prepare for a role by reading through the script multiple times. I like to evaluate the way my character talks, and the mannerisms they may use. I also use music to help me prepare.
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
I love playing the opposite of myself! Playing a character who is not like you is my most favorite! I like playing a more edgy character because it’s so cool to have fun and play around with the character.
If you weren’t modeling or acting, what would you be up to right now?
I would probably be in school!
Which fictional character would be the most exciting to meet in real life?
Katherine Pierce from Vampire Diaries.
Can you name 3 actors/actresses you would love to work with living or dead?
Lily Rose Depp, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing the project everyone worked so hard on come together on screen showing something beautiful is a feeling that never gets old!
Now let’s talk about your new project “A Wave of Kindness”. Tell us about the film and your role in it.
“A Wave of Kindness” is about a family going through grief, and how just small acts of kindness can completely change the course of someone’s life for the better.
Why did you decide to do this film?
I decided to do this film because of the overall message of the film. It’s so positive and I’m very excited to see it when it’s finished.
What is your favorite memory from the set?
My favorite memory was when I had to be mean to Braedon Sorbo (who played my brother)! In every take, he would say a funny retort to my character’s snarky comment. All of us were dying of laughter!
As a popular model, actress and influencer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of always doing the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
The pressure is definitely there, but I’ve learned not to worry too much about what people say. I focus on what is right for me, and try my best to bring positivity to the world through my platforms.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
I would tell her that she is beautiful just the way she is! I would also tell her to keep doing what she’s doing, and before she knows it she’ll be living her dream!
What would you say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
I think learning how negative people can be was a hard lesson for me to learn. People can be extremely mean, and learning how to navigate that was so important. I think having a thick skin the way I do now has helped me tremendously.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
Anything to do with vampires or the supernatural! I think they would be so much fun to film!
What did you learn from your biggest failure? (If any)
I learned to just be my true, authentic self. Being someone else just doesn’t work, and being yourself is the way to go because no one else is you!
What’s next for Avaryana Rose in the last months of 2023?
Lots of hard work! I have so many fun things planned for these next few months, and working with some super cool people! I’m very excited for everyone to see what I’ve been working on.
Please describe a typical day for you. What is your daily routine like?
My daily routine is a lot of checking my social media, and responding to necessary messages. Then I usually do a few auditions. If not, then I’m working on a project I have planned ;). After that I work with kids, teaching them flexibility and teamwork.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
“The Good in Being Yourself” would be the title. I chose this title because it was hard for me to be myself when I was younger. As soon as I decided to embrace who I was. things turned out much better for me, and I learned just how awesome it is to be yourself.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Spending quality time with family, and playing with my kitty, Eclipse! I love watching movies too.
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
“Before He Cheats” by Carrie Underwood!!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Marilyn Monroe for sure! I’ve always looked up to her, and meeting her would be so amazing. I’m sure it is something I would never forget!
Do you support any charity?
I do! I support the American Heart Association because my brother was born with a heart defect.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Relaxing and reading, or watching movies!
Where can we follow you?
