Thank you so much for doing this interview with us. It is a great honor. Our readers would love to learn more about you and your personal background.
Can you please share your personal story? What has brought you to this point in your life?
My pleasure! Before I became a television/media personality and celebrity trainer, I was obese for close to 21 years. I had stretch marks all over my body, a low self-esteem, and a negative mindset. I was bullied for many years and suffered from depression and anxiety. At the age of 16, my parents separated which caused me to have to quit high school and work at McDonald’s and Taco Bell to help my single mother keep afloat as we were both left broke and empty inside.
Being that I have done so many things in my life and career, I know I would take up pages explaining the FULL back-story. For that, I would like you and all the readers to check out all the details on how I grew up, changed my life and became a wellness coach on television by visiting https://www.jasonrosell.com/about.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Honest – Direct – Loving
Name one your strengths?
Emotional Intelligence
Best advice ever given?
Misery Loves Company.
Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My mother. She has proved that no matter what difficult obstacles and difficult situations life brings, you can still prevail with a positive and loving proactive attitude no matter what.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
You can love someone and try so hard to make them happy, but if they are not happy and are willing to put in the work to show you the same reciprocal love, then it is better to let them go and become happy with your own solitude.
What’s your advice for the newer coaches, influencers, or entrepreneurs?
Be persistent, organized, intentional, and never give up as defeats are not failures. You only fail when you quit.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
Most people want it the easy way with instant gratification. Sometimes, you have to do all the work yourself to then showcase others that laziness does not get you anywhere. You have to be your own cheerleader, do the hard work when no one is watching, and keep going no matter what.
Now tell us about the huge online success with your life, wellness, and relationships coaching academy and what are you doing to keep it going and growing even more?
I put out content and podcasts episodes monthly about relatable topics, giving advice from personal experiences that I had pains or struggles with. I give tips and solutions from those who are suffering as well like I was at one point. The best relationship you can have is always with yourself if you want to have a successful relationship with anyone else. Relationship coaching is by far my favorite thing to work and help students on. I feel everyone has a choice to live fearlessly and become the best version they want to be if they choose to put in the work. I also feel that life is not easy, and sometimes people we love hurts us, but with emotional intelligence, you better understand, and simply learn to forgive and move on. The posts and podcast episodes are free to anyone around the world. This in returns helps 1000’s of people that follow me yearly, who later decide to join my academy. My mission is to help people thrive no matter what they are going through, and I plan on continuing my mission to help at least one person daily until the day I am no longer in this planet earth, leaving my legacy as someone that simply wanted you to be better than you ever dreamed you could have (as long as you are willing to put in the work). No one is broken, and I can only help people live their best life if we work as a team to thrive!
