Describe yourself in 3 words?
Passionate, hardworking, respectful
Name one your strengths?
My work ethic
Best advice ever given?
Don’t ever burn any bridges. Leave every job, situation, as calmly and mature as possible even if you feel you’ve been done wrong.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My mom
How and when did you start into modeling?
I did my first runway show in New York for Ujena Swimwear
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I love working with new designers, models, and directors; traveling to new places as well to shoot. It can get chaotic when it comes to runway shows especially behind the scenes lol, but ultimately I love every opportunity I get when it comes to modeling and have lots of fun.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
I feel that I’m constantly achieving then failing again, its this never ending cycle. I learn the most when I fail and don’t book a job I want. The minute you are satisfied with what you’ve accomplished in your career, should be the same time you switch career paths.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
Staying present.
What’s your advice for the newer models/influencers?
Be open to meeting new people, and hearing different perspectives. Be willing to do TFP work in the beginning and network as much as possible.
What would you say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
Sometimes not booking a job is a blessing, and not everything you want is always best for you. Be open to criticism, and never think you know it all.
When did you start dancing?
I was scouted when I was 11 by the National Ballet School.
Did you take dancing classes?
I started dancing recreationally when I was 3.
Any advice for aspiring dancers?
Start young, do every genre of dance; tap, ballet, jazz, hiphop, theatre, and contemporary so you become as versatile as you can.
What do you love most about dancing?
Being able to express myself through movement.
What type of dance do you like best?
Ballet
What’s next for Alexa Kastellanos in 2021?
Im hoping to be published in more magazines, travel for more shoots, and do my first movie or feature in a tv series.
Which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?
Id like to be a part of a campaign I believe in, and be on a billboard for it.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
I want to be modeling and acting full time, still dancing professionally, and traveling for work. I want to make a name for myself in the tv/film industry.
Now talking about Instagram, can you share some tips for keeping your account interesting?
Keep your photos constantly updated. Share every project and job you’ve done whether big or small, network, and respond to as many dm’s and comments as possible; to show you are appreciative for your support and following.

Haagen Dazs ice cream!

Being able to pursue your dreams and living your authentic truth everyday.
