Hi Olympia, please tell us a little about you?
I am Olympia the founder of the Olystic Method. I am half French, half American and just moved to New York to launch my practice. I am a life coach who focuses on holistic practices and the power of nutrition to help my clients become the best versions of themselves.
I will help you do the work, find the answers within you to heal and encourage you to regain what you lost- usually it’s a sense of self worth.
Having suffered from a raging eating disorder myself, I have created the Olystic method as a tool to regain control of what’s mine: my life. I also have an eating disorder coaching program that assists clients in recovery. Why? because I have been there.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
POSITIVE, EMPATHETIC, STRAIGHT FORWARD
Name one your strengths?
My willingness. I never give up.
Best advice ever given?
To receive love , you give love . to experiment kindness you give kindness. It’s on repeat and it works. I apply this constantly and guess what it works. Mark my words. This does not means letting people walk all over, but if you are aware of your self worth its not an issue
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My Mother. She is my sun, my strength, my. best friend. Her positivity inspires me everyday. She is the one who showed me there was a light at the end of the tunnel and always lifted me up in my darkest days. She taught me the importance of la pensee positively and how to fight for your happiness no matter what. She also believes in unicorn that explains everything
How and when did you start your career in wellness?
I started Olystic, from a place of love and a place of need. I quickly understood that I needed to help others. My recovery became the OLYSTIC METHOD. Through my battle against anorexia I had found my purpose: creating a space for recovery but also raising awareness on the danger of Eating disorders.
What is fun and rewarding about running The Olystic Method? And what is not?
I live for my clients breakthrough, it lights me up from the inside. Its like watching them figuring out a puzzle that they have been trying to solve for ages. its pure joy, this makes me wake up in the morning. However, the amount of suffering is something that is hard to deal from. Suffering from a lack of self love is tough to watch. But I have been and this reinforces my purpose and calling for being a coach.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
That it’s not a failure, but just an episode that brought me to where I am today.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
I built my business and practice on intuition. I did not read a life coach for dummies. So I can’t really give you advice on that one. However if you read the the course in miracles i ‘m sure you will find some valuable insight
What’s next for Olympia Landeau in 2023?
I just moved to New York after being for 14 years in London. What’s next for me is to grow alongside my practice. I feel this calling to help, I know I can make a change in helping people feel better about themselves and that’s exactly what I ll do. One step at a time
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and The Olystic Method?
I want to build an Olystic community where people would lift each other and become the best version of themselves using my method. My method is straightforward: (self) love, kindness and connection.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Good food, good friends & a good laugh
