Hi Livvy, please tell us a little about you?
I’m a pop country rap artist from Virginia.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
New, empowering, and real
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
Music has been in my life since before I was born. I remember my mom telling me when she was pregnant that she would put headphones on her belly and play classical music through them. I remember being in my car seat and me and my mom would listen to music but make up our own words to the songs.
Do you play any instrument?
I play the flute and a little guitar.
Do you ever get nervous?
Of course! Especially for interviews but once I get going all the nerves go away.
Tell us about your debut single “Take A Number?”
Take a number is a fun feel good summer song that sheds light on the weird world of dating.
What’s the story behind the song?
Take A Number is about my experiences dating the past few years. It’s a fun silly and sassy song talking about some dates I’ve been on that didn’t turn out so hot.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Listening to my music around all the people I love.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
My Dad encouraged me to read Getting Things Done by David Allen to help with stress-free productivity, so I think that’s a good one for any entrepreneur to read.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Don’t be so hard on yourself everything is gonna work out just wait and see.
How would your best friend describe you?
Fun, spontaneous, and hardworking
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
Giddy Up and Glamour Up with Livvy D! Why? Because it’s a title that shows all viewpoints of my life on the farm and in Hollywood.
What’s next for Livvy D in 2023?
I look forward to sharing more of my singles and music videos. I also look forward to booking more live shows.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Some of my favorite healthy foods are Salmon, Sushi, or Humus.
And your favorite cheat food?
Some of my favorite cheat foods are Peanut Butter Cheesecake, Cappuccino Ice Cream or Red Lobster’s Rolls.
How would you explain your fashion style?
My fashion style is Boujee and Sassy with a Country Flair.
What is your own definition of happiness?
My definition of happiness is being int the studio recording music.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Paris Hilton or Snoop Dogg, because they are legendary entrepreneurs and musicians.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
My dream holiday is anywhere tropical or being on the beach with my friends and family.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice I’ve ever been given is that Nothing is Impossible
Do you support any charity?
Two of my favorite charities that I support are the American Heart Association and Equine Rescue facilities.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
In 5 years, I see myself performing on tour traveling the world.
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
My favorite songs to sing in the car or Karaoke depends on the day. Recently, I’ve been belting out Umbrella by Rhianna, Change Your LIfe by Iggy Azalea and Often by The Weeknd.

I think social media is a great way to stay connected to people all over the world.
