At the age of 14 Sicily Rose began to release original music with a Christmas song entitled Dark Holiday and will be releasing additional original music in early 2021. Sicily is passionate about giving back to the community and utilizes her platforms to bring as much awareness as she can to cyber bullying against influencers and people in general. She created the hashtag #justlove to remind people to always love first.

Hi Sicily, please tell us a little about you?
Well I come from a huge family! I have a lot of siblings: one full sister, one full brother, one half brother, one step sister and one step brother! I have the most supportive mother I could ever ask for. She has been through this all with me! Always encouraging me to reach for the stars. A step dad who understands my big dreams and has made sacrifices to make it happen for me. I love my family and am so appreciative of all of them!
Here is a fun fact about me, I love to do accents! Sometimes I just walk around all day sounding like a different person. I’m sure it totally annoys my family, but I love it!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Funny, Ambitious, Loyal
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
When I was 5 I wanted to be a model, so I begged for a photoshoot and that’s where it all started. Modeling was never enough for me because you see, I feel like I need to concur everything so next I took on acting and Influencing, then on to singing (Which I never knew, would become my greatest love) But honestly I want to do everything. When I have a day off, I usually feel weird like I’m failing and need to be working towards goals constantly. But my mom usually notices that and we go away for a week or a weekend to recharge. It is so important to not get burnt out in this business and to set goals! I am so happy though because finally I am living full time in LA which has been my #1 goal since I was 7! Hard work is paying off guys!
Best advice ever given?
Don’t ever think that you can’t reach a goal or that your dream is too big and can’t happen to you. If you work hard and are disciplined you can do it! And probably the biggest piece of advice I can give someone is to be tough, Have a thick skin. Remember it doesn’t matter what other people think about you, it’s how you think about yourself that matters.
What was your first acting role?
My first acting role was when I was 11 and was in a short film. I played a crazy schizophrenic little kid who saw ghosts. So it was rad! Something you might not know about me. I love scary stuff!!
How did you get started into Singing, Acting and Dancing?
I Just started Singing and It has been so amazing! My producer Drew Lane is awesome! Always pushing me outside my comfort zone and encouraging me to try new things! I am so very thankful for him. Acting started a bit earlier. I took acting classes from my favorite coach Amy Lyndon and she too has always encouraged me to push myself to the max! As for Dancing I am not a dancer. Lol I so wish I was and tried real hard when I was 3 but nope sorry guys, your girl is not a dancer. Unless you consider TikTok Dancing a Dancer lol.

How often do you upload new content?
I upload a new video every Friday at 3pm (PST)!! Hopefully soon I can start two videos a week. That’s my goal anyways haha.
What do you think is the secret to have a successful YouTube channel?
I think collaborating with interesting people and for sure having a storyline that people want to watch!
Any advice to other influencers/entrepreneurs?
Don’t give up! Work hard! Nothing is owed to you! The harder you work and the more goals you’ll crush, it just gets you closer and closer to where you want to be.
As a popular influencer you are followed by so many young girls. How do you feel about that pressure of always doing the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
It can be a lot of pressure especially because I think people forget that I am a kid too and also human. I do make mistakes and am far from perfect. But my goal is always to show a good example and to be an inspiration to young girls to follow their dreams. Anything is possible with hard work.
How do you manage all the social success you have and the part that everyone is looking to you all the time?
Honestly I could not do any of this without my mom. She has been such an amazing backbone for me through this all. But I like a lot of structure, a schedule is super important for me. I need to wake up every morning and know what the day looks like, in this business it isn’t always easy to do that. But I manage to try to keep things as structured as possible. Otherwise I would go insane lol As for people always looking at you, yes that can be hard, especially when you are a teenager. But I try to remember my goals and make sure to give myself grace when I do make a mistake.
Now tell us about your Christmas song “Dark Holiday?”
This is my first original guy’s! I had so much fun getting to be a writer on this. It was so cool to be in a studio, just vibing and being creative with other people. And the song was exactly what I wanted it to be. I didn’t think we would get to do a music video for it. but we managed to figure that out last minute and I love how it all turned out! I have such an amazing team I couldn’t ask to be more blessed.

I think I answered too much in the first question about it lol.

Do you ever get nervous?
Ummmm honestly not really. I haven’t had much experience with singing on stage in front of people and I definitely think that will take some getting used to. But for the most part I usually just tell myself “ok lets go!” (Honestly my mom is always nervous enough for the both of us) Love ya mama!
What other projects have you been part of?
Well right now or as of lately I have been really just trying to focus on my youtube and Music. But have had some rad photoshoots with awesome photographers lately!
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
It’s a tie between Cameron Diaz and Drew Barrymore, and it’s for the same reasons, I love that they can be freaking hilarious and Beautiful at the same time and they do not care what anyone thinks ever. I love it. GOALS
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Either Kendall Jenner or Gigi Hadid
What’s next for Sicily Rose in 2021?
Well I am hoping to hit 1 million on at least 1 platform this year! Are you following me? If not go follow me right now lol. And put out Way more music!! Also I really just want to keep being consistent with my YouTube. Also I would love to become a season regular on a show.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being able to give back and take care of my mama. There have been times as a single mom that she worked three jobs and still supported me in everything I have chosen to do. She never puts herself first. Being with my family in general always makes me feel happy though.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
Hopefully super successful. And working a lot doing all the things I love.
How would your best friend describe you?
She always says I’m sooooo pretty and I make her laugh! We just have the best time.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
Putting out my first album and also I want to walk a runway bad!

Do you support any charity?
It is in my hopes to be able to give back and bring awareness to Cyberbullying someday. That’s also another goal I have for 2021
What is your favorite healthy food?
Salad but with no carrots (I hate Carrots)

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
This is a hard one! Umm MGK so I could talk him into doing a song with me lol
3 things you can’t leave home without?
My Phone, My Mom and My Rings!
How’s a normal day in your life?
My mom wakes me up and says I have things to do, I lay there for like another half hour looking at TIKTOKS until she comes in again lol. Then I shower, Check my schedule and eat avocado toast and then get ready and head to any event I have scheduled that day. I’m constantly asking my mom to order me food throughout the day. Then When I get home I try to watch a movie or just take time to chill alone before falling asleep. Fun Fact: I call my mom Janie when I don’t get my way, you may have heard this in some of my youtube videos, the reason for this is because when I was little I couldn’t pronounce M’s so I couldn’t say Jamie and when I would not get my way. I would yell Janie at her. I still do it to this day lol. So a normal day at my house is calling her this a lot throughout the day when I don’t get my way.
What is your idea of a perfect Sunday?
Getting to go to the Beach with friends and taking a day off from social media.

Somedays I hate it but for the most part I love it. It has opened so many doors for me! So I will always be appreciative of it.
