Bailey enjoys exploring different musical genres and embracing new challenges along the way. Her musical home base is pop music which conveys a message of hope. In her short time on the music scene, Bailey has written songs about empowerment to encourage those who struggle. Her songs are about facing life head-on with an open heart.
Bailey’s experience with television includes roles in commercial spots along with supporting efforts in a few dramatic series. She has also spent plenty of time on the theater stage.
Bailey new single “Boy Like You” will release on November 29th.

Describe yourself in 3 words?
Passionate, motivated and outgoing.
How did you get started in the business?
Actually, I submitted to perform at the Apollo Theater in NYC…so I have performed on that legendary stage 3 times so far.
Do you ever get nervous?
YES!! Of course I do however I tend to get more nervous in front of small crowds rather than large crowds.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Loud, belting and powerful!
What is your next goal as a musician?
I plan to continue to work with my producer Andrew Lane on some pretty cool originals as well as work on the writing side of my songs as well.
Do you have a Tour coming up or where we can see you performing?
Yes…I am actually doing a motivational tour in North Carolina focusing on middle and elementary schools as well as the Boys and Girls clubs of America and the local Salvation Army. I am also a part of the SOS Foundation that will be kicking off with an anti-bullying tour across the US. I am very honored to be a part of this amazing foundation.
Now tell us about your latest single?
“Boy Like You” will release November 29th. It’s a super fun pop style song with an upbeat tempo. I think kids of all ages will have fun with this song. The music video will release after the Holiday’s. We had a lot of fun with the video. I decided to cast actors and dancers from the Charlotte NC area in order to include my hometown in the official music video.
What we can expect of Bailey Marie in 2019/2020?
I plan to continue my school tour and reach out to as many kids as I possibly can by being a positive role model. I have another original called “Girls” that will release in the spring of 2020. This is a fun girl power song that I am excited to share with everyone. I will be performing again at the Apollo Theater in 2020 along with performances with the SOS Foundation.
What is you favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Probably I will always love you by Whitney Houston….one day I will have enough nerve to perform this one!
Name one your strengths?
One of my strengths would definitely be persistence. If you tell me no or that I can’t do something, I will work extremely hard to prove everyone wrong. Failure is never an option for me!
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness to me is defined by spending time with my family and friends as well as working to pursue my dreams.
Any loves other than music?
Musical Theatre… It was my first love and although I don’t get to do a lot of theater right now, I am still very passionate about it.
How’s a typical day in your life?
I attend school for 3 hours a day and do some school at home. I do a lot of practicing! I work on choreography, voice, and acting. I do a good bit of film auditions so many days are spent learning scripts.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
A perfect Sunday would include attending church with my awesome youth group and then spending the day with friends and family. I love playing volleyball so maybe an afternoon at the park followed by dinner at one of my favorite restaurants.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I actually like salads but I ruin the healthy part by adding ranch dressing lol.
And your favorite cheat food?
I LOVE Sundrop slushies (it’s a NC thing) and mint chocolate chip milk shakes.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
A deal breaker for me would be if he was conceited. I absolutely can not deal with anyone who thinks that they are better than others.
Do you support any charities?
YES…I volunteer a lot at the local Salvation Army.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would probably choose to meet Millie Bobby Brown because she is a part of my favorite TV show and she’s always been a huge inspiration to me.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would say very trendy and VSCO but at the same time I like to be comfy and wear sweats and hoodies often!
What do you think of Social Media?
I love social media. I use it to promote myself as well as talk with friends. Tik Tok is the best also! It’s amazing…I couldn’t live without it lol.
