Hi Mery, please tell us a little about you?
From a young age, I’ve been immersed in the world of singing, fueled by a deep passion for becoming an artist. Encouraged by my mother’s aunt, I joined choirs and even sang at church. Inspired by my aspirations, I pursued dance for a few years. Determined to make it big, I conducted thorough research, identifying the top vocal coach and producer to guide me on my journey to stardom.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Exciting, innovative, and groundbreaking.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
My mother’s aunt and the artist I’ve always cherished have been significant influences, shaping my passion for music since birth. Being an artist has been a lifelong calling, and music resides deeply within me.
Do you play any instrument?
No
Do you ever get nervous?
Yes, I do. but always know how to maintain composure. It all comes down to focus; wherever your focus lies, there your energy flows. I don’t give anxiety/nervousness much attention so my energy is not expanded in that direction.
Tell us about your new single “Don’t Judge Me”?
My song “Don’t Judge Me” is about the constant criticism and judgment I received from those who doubt and disapprove.
What’s the story behind “Don’t Judge Me”?
“Don’t Judge Me” reflects a journey where I faced relentless skepticism and mockery from those who doubted my abilities. Overcoming their judgments, I learned to embrace my strength, laugh at the naysayers, and move forward with resilience, leaving their negativity behind.
What is the story behind the success of your previous hits “It’s a Girl,” and “Rockstar?”
“It’s A Girl” is about gender reveal parties, baby showers, and couples awaiting baby news and I wanted this song to resonate with everyone. “Rockstar ” is about being the driving force in our own life. Making independent decisions and paving your own path in life and I want everyone to live in this manner.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Connecting on a poignant level with my fans and hearing how my music has impacted their lives and uplifted their spirit.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
“Think And Grow Rich” because it emphasizes the importance of using your mind correctly to attain your goals.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Plan your steps wisely, and don’t be led off track by other people. I would say this to myself because I was not cautious with my decisions, and I had individuals in my life lie to me and take advantage of me.
How would your best friend describe you?
Funny, attention to detail, and boss lady.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
“The art of never giving up” because I never quit.

Honestly, I never anticipated such rapid growth. I’m grateful for my fans and feel incredibly blessed.
As a popular musician and dancer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of always doing the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
