Hi Sophia, please tell us a little about you?
Hey everybody, I’m Sophia Treadway and I’m an artist and songwriter. I’m releasing a new song called “Title” on April 28th and I can’t wait to share it with the listeners!
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Pop, fresh, current
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
Since I was little, I’ve wanted to be a singer! I would say my first influence ever was watching Hannah Montana as a little girl! Now I would say artists such as Dua lipa and Ariana Grande inspire me.
Do you play any instrument?
I play the piano and guitar.
Do you ever get nervous?
In the beginning, I used to get more nervous. There are still times that I get nervous when it comes to singing and performing but I love doing it, so I get through the nerves.
Tell us about your new single “TITLE?” What’s the story behind the song?
The story behind Title is about a breakup I was going through and the heartbreak of it. I would wonder a lot about the label and the pressure of dating can have. The inspiration behind the song was me talking about how I felt and wondered if the relationship wouldn’t have ended if we didn’t add the pressure of having that label of boyfriend and girlfriend.
And about the success of your previous single “Kiss N Tell,” and how was working with producer Autumn Rowe?
Working with Autumn Rowe is always the best time! She really helps me bring my thoughts in to my music and to bring it to life. I’m super blessed to have had her cowrite with me not only on Kiss N Tell but now on Title.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Being able to share my music and releasing it, is definitely the most rewarding part. I love hearing everybody’s feedback and sharing it with my listeners and fans.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
All You Need To Know About The Music Business. Is an incredible book to read and it teaches you everything you need to know about this industry.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
I would say to always be prepared, especially as a girl in this industry, to know the ins and outs, and always be one step ahead.
As a popular artist you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I do feel the pressure when it comes to social media, and I always want to make sure what I’m putting out there is positive and something I’m proud of. I think it’s important to share my life with viewers and Is something I want to grow better at doing and hope to share more.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
I would say to keep working hard and to ignore the hate and to stay focused on what you love and surrounding yourself with the people who love you, Family and Friends that’s all that’s important.
How would your best friend describe you?
I would say sweet, fun, and outgoing!
What’s next for Sophia Treadway in 2023?
A lot of new music and releases to look forward to. I can’t wait to share some new music with everybody.

I would say street style with some basics to it!
What is your own definition of happiness?
I would say being with family and friends as well as traveling makes me happy.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would meet an artist like Elvis Presley or Michael Jackson. If they were still alive, I would ask them questions about music and what inspired them and how they work and made such magical music. I would want to learn from them.
Best advice ever given?
Someone once shared with me that “success is one hard work meets opportunity” being given this advice has really impacted me and is something I keep with me.
Do you support any charity?
I support many charities one that sticks out to me is the thirst for life project.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself potentially signing with a label and one day going on a major tour!
What do you think of Social Media?
Social media is a super fun way to connect with fans. That being said, Social Media has its ups and downs and something I’m working on getting more comfortable with so I can connect more with fans and share not only my music but parts of my life with them!
