Hi Kimley, please tell us a little about you?
Hi Naluda Magazine ! I’m Kimley Mayron, I’m 24. I was born in Paris, (France), now I’m based in Florida (US). I’m a singer, writer and composer.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I would say that I am Passionate, Determinate and Open Minded.
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
When I was a kid, I was going to the conservatory to study piano, music theory and the choir.
My music teacher found that my voice was special and different for a young girl aged of 6.
So she contacted my parents to tell them that they should push me this way, that I would probably have a future in the music industry.
That’s how it started.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I choose to make music because to me, that was an evidence. I can’t live if I don’t sing and write.
I feel empty inside if there’s no music around. My family transmitted that to me, they always loved to sing.
Do you ever get nervous?
I do get nervous ! I never want my fans to be disappointed so I always have a minimum of stress.
Tell us about your new single “Free Electron?”
Free Electron is my first single. It came out on May 18, 2021. This song reflects completely my mindset.
What’s the story behind this song?
The story is about someone that is free spirited.
He doesn’t let anyone impose on his life and sets his own rules. He goes from one place to another just the way he wants it.
What is fun and rewarding about what you do? And what’s not?
It is so satisfying when my community tells me that they love my voice, my music, my pics…I feel like I did the job!
What is not fun is when things don’t get the way it supposed to, on stage when you start singing and you can’t hear your voice in the earplugs!
What are the five things you can’t live without?
I can’t live without my family, my pets, music, travel and food…!
What’s next for Kimley Mayron in 2021?
Hopefully a beautiful EP for the end of the year and featurings with amazing artists.
What is you favorite song? And why?
My favorite song is: “Fast car” by Tracy Chapman.
I love the lyrics, I feel so good when I listen to that song. The text speaks for itself. “You got a fast car, I got a ticket to anywhere…”
Any loves other than music?
Oh my god, yes ! I love to travel, I love animals and nature, I workout a lot and I love food!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
That would be Freddy Mercury, to see him performing on stage ! I’m sure that it was breathtaking… and he probably would have so much to teach me.
Best advice ever given?
Never give up on yourself, and trust the timing of your life
How’s a typical day in your life?
It starts with a good workout and a good meal.
Then I always take an hour to answer my fans, my link to them is so important and I do my best to be as active as I can on my social medias.
Then, it’s work time, I go to the studio or to my media appointments with my agent, and at night the inspiration comes for new songs and new projects.
Before going to sleep, I organize my next day, drink my tea, and I see you tomorrow!
Name one your strengths?
Definitely, Consistency!
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
A perfect Sunday is with my family, friends and pets, having a nice lunch and good conversations and then going for a long walk outside and breath the fresh air.
What is your own definition of happiness?
My definition of happiness stick to one word: Freedom
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite healthy food is Avocado toast with grill veggies, fruits, fresh juice and almond milk Coffee.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is Ice Coffee with Caramel Sauce and whipped cream on the top! That’s my order at any coffee place…
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
My biggest dream is to sing in a stadium! And I truly wish that I could be there in 5 years and I’m gonna do anything in my power to make it happen.
How would you describe your fashion style?
I would say Classy Sporty! I like to be comfortable in my clothes but it always has to be stylish and fashion.
