Hi Elba, please tell us a little about you?
Hiiii! I’m a Spanish model raised by the world. I grew up in Barcelona and started my career very young because I needed to explore out there.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Energetic, unpredictable and creative.
What has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My first beauty contest. I remember that was like a cold shower to me and really opened my eyes to my truth path. Was not what I expected but it prepared myself for what might come, what I was going to allow and what not on my way to my goals.
How and when did you start into modeling?
I was very young, probably 16 years old. I was walking with my Mom in the center of Barcelona when a man proposed to her to take photos of me for a “back to school” ad. I was so excited on set and I was acting like if did a photo shooting before!
I loved my first contact with the camera and I wanted to repeat again and again.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Your confidence levels up as you progress professionally. You discover yourself, enhance your virtues and work on your weakest parts.
The most fun is meeting new people all the time. The music on the set can never be missing so an atmosphere of good energy and good vibes is always around.
Can you name a few magazines you are working or have worked with?
Was so amazing work for Nitro magazine Greece. One of my favorites experiences with the biggest production and incredible stylish masterpieces.
Also be the cover for Vigour and Moevir Paris was absolutely a dream come true.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
That is not the end of the world. Is not the right time and right moment but you just need to be strong and don’t give up.
The most important thing when you are shooting is?
Confidence and be focused. One time, I was doing a lingerie shooting, and all the entire crew on set were men, and I had so many eyes on me that I had a needed time to process and not be shy.
What’s your advice for the newer models and influencers?
Instagram is a visual platform, and every photo you post is sending a message about the quality and value of what you offer. With one glance, your viewers will decide whether they want to stay connected with you.
Step into your strength and courageously. The world is waiting for what you have to share. Go for it with clarity and confidence, make yourself visible and shine.
What mindsets helped making you so successful and popular?
It’s important that you represent yourself with a strong presence that clearly relays your message and your values so you can make people feel closer and connected with you!
It really hit on you when you create a beautiful community that is loyal to you and just try to push you up even in your hard days.
When you started your Social Media accounts, did you expected such a success?
Not really. When I started Instagram, I was starting modeling at the same time and I always can say that I’ve been more focused on what was happening in my real life than in social media.
I was starting traveling around the world and just posting new spots, a nonstop life full of great details, fashion shows, events. I think my community liked to discover in the same time as me, so they just joined me in all my adventures!
As a popular model and influencer you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I’m not really the best influence out there hahaha
I’ve always liked to not follow the rules…but let’s say that in my social networks I’m usually quite neutral with topics of big affectation, precisely for not feeling that social pressure. I want to feel free in the way I think so I never share my deepest thoughts.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
Emotional Intelligence by Daniel Golman.
It talks about confidence and self-assurance, emotional control and self-motivation to achieve goals. Also about how to understand the feelings of others, manage relationships and have power of influence. This book for me represents without any doubt a response to life.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
“Always know your worth” because means knowing your value, your strength, respecting yourself, and loving yourself enough to to take care of the inner you.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
I guess something in relation with cinema!! I always loved acting and I’m wondering what it would be to see myself on the big screen.
What’s next for Elba Prescoli in 2023?
Always expect the unexpected. My life is always a movie without an ending haha
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
Lost and found. Because no matter how many times I get lost, I always find the way.
