Describe the process of creating Twenty-Something!
Creating “Twenty-Something” was an incredible experience. From the first words written to the magic created in production to finally releasing this song into the world, the whole process was incredible.
We’re constantly learning and growing, even after your twenties, and “Twenty-Something” is an important reminder that you’re never alone. Music has always played a huge role in my life, allowing me to make sense of all of life’s hardships and triumphs and I truly hope to help others through my music.
Are there any upcoming shows we need to be aware of?
I’ll be announcing some new shows soon, but in the meantime I go live on TikTok several times a week.
Who inspired you and why did you decide to pursue music?
I think that I always knew in the back of my mind that I wanted to make music. I’ve been singing for as long as I can remember and I started to write seriously at a young age. I have always been drawn to creating in all capacities and have a love for storytelling and creating melodies to portray the story. When I started writing, I felt a sense of comfort in the creativity and knew that this is what my heart wanted to pursue. Looking up to other artists that were pursuing that dream pushed me to reach for the stars even more than I had been, because I understood that music was something someone could actually do. Seeing my favorite artists in concert always gives me that “this is what I want to do with my life” moment. Of course, I am also always inspired by my family, friends and talented co-writers and musicians.
What are your aspirations for 2022/2023?
Continue writing, connecting with fans, and, hopefully, instilling some amount of comfort in others through my songs, just as music has done for me.
What’s your take on Social Media?
I think, when used correctly, social media is an extremely powerful asset. I have been able to meet some of my best friends, talented co-writers, creatives and amazing people through social media, and it’s an equally amazing place to meet the incredible fans that continue to support me today. Of course, social media is a long ways away from being perfect, but there are still many positive attributes.

Who are your musical influences?
I am inspired by many different artists and songwriters, my co-writers and friends included. As far as musical influences, Taylor Swift continues to have the biggest impact on me as an artist. I have always been, and will always be, inspired by Taylor Swift from the words and melodies she writes to the everlasting impact she has had on the music industry.
Are there any tips for getting started in the music business?
As simple as it sounds, keep going. Keep creating. Keep making music. Keep being true to yourself. Keep writing. Keep going.
