Hi Halle, please tell us a little about you?
I am a country singer/songwriter from Columbia, MO now living in Nashville, TN!
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Outgoing, positive, and adventurous
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
I have always had a passion for performing and entertaining! When I started playing guitar around 13 years old, it instantly became my greatest love, and I’ve been pursuing it ever since.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Delicate, Bubbly, and Feminine
Do you play any instrument?
I play guitar, and a little piano!
Do you ever get nervous?
Of course! Every time before I perform nerves set in. I think nerves just show that you care about something 🙂
Tell us about the success of your debut EP “Finally?”
“Finally” is my first project, and has BLOWN me away with its success. It’s been so well received by my little music family and I’m thrilled about it. It’s been out for 2 months, and will hit 1,000,000 streams on Spotify alone in less than a week! It’s opened up a lot of doors for me and I’m so grateful!
What’s the story behind the songs?
They’re all an intro into who I am as a person 🙂 I wanted the listener to get a wide range of my personality, interests and emotions through this project
Which music venue is still on your bucket list?
I really wanna play Red Rocks in Colorado, and of course the Opry!
What is fun and rewarding about what you do? And what’s not?
I love mostly every part of what I do, even down to the tedious portions. It’s all like one big puzzle trying to figure out how to move this career forward. So when I look at it like that, all of it is rewarding!
What’s next for Halle Kearns in 2021?
More music! I’m stoked to get more tunes out!
What is your favorite song that you’ve written? And why?
So far, it’s my song “Shoes to Fill”. It’s the song I wrote about my dad, and it’s really special to me for that reason!
Any loves other than music?
So many! My family is incredible, and so are my friends. I would do absolutely anything for any of them.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I want to meet Guy Fieri for no reason other than I think he’s cool and I believe we’d be good buddies.
What’s a typical day in your life?
No day every looks the same for me, but a most consist of a blend of the following:
Work out, write, interview of some sort, zoom meetings, photoshoot, videos, etc!
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Coffee in hand, sermon on the computer, no work to be done, and having time to relax.
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
“Only the Good Die Young” by Billy Joel! haha
What is your own definition of happiness?
Feeling peace within myself and helping those around me feel that too.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I love making smoothies and smoothie bowls. I have all sorts of recipes i’ve created!
And your favorite cheat food?
CHIPS AND QUESO
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
Someone who keeps interrupting, or brings up their ex multiple times.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I would love to be on the road touring! Hopping from city to city, doing what I love most!
How would you describe your fashion style?
My creative director has been calling it “Retro California Dream Barbie” hahah.
