Kelsey’s music is certainly emotionally driven, thematically encompassing issues such as dealing with depression, love lost, mistakes made and separation from friends. Her track Nobody alludes to the haunting experience of being lost to the memory of a loved one and feeling like a stranger to someone you once knew so well. On the related theme of vulnerability and hopelessness, Stay explores the difficulty of being stuck and the inability to leave a dysfunctional and toxic relationship. The enchanting electronic sounds paired with Kelsey’s soulful voice can be likened to pop superstar Halsey, whom Kelsey has previously stated as a major inspiration to her music.
Having worked with influential names in the music business, such as producers Tarro (Blackbear) and writers including Myah Marie (Britney Spears and Lil Wayne) – Kelsey is sure to make an explosive debut.

Hi Kelsey, please tell us a little about you?
I’m a 19 year old singer/song writer from New Jersey 🙂
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Goofy, Passionate and dank lol
Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
My parents for being so supportive with my career and allowing me to follow my passion.
How did you get started in the business?
I started singing and wiring about two years ago and a family friend who’s in the music business heard me sing and he started managing me and launching my career.
Did you go to music school?
I went to NYU music tech for a bit but I took a leave of absence to focus on launching my career.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
I’d say my song is always I like exploring all my music influences from pop, rock and even rap and alternative.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
Music is my outlet for all the emotions that I go through, its helped me get through hard times or mistakes I’ve made. I’m influenced by so many different musicians. I’d say rock bands were my first influence.
Do you ever get nervous?
All the time. I get nervous about not being good or talented enough.
What is your next goal as a musician?
My next goal is to release more music and music videos along with touring.
Now tell us about your hit single “Nobody?”
It’s about wanting someone who doesn’t want you back. wishing they were someone to you but they aren’t.
Do you have a tour coming up or where we can see you performing?
I was actually supposed to tour in the UK but with the pandemic I’m not sure when I will be preforming.
What we can expect of Kelsey in 2020?
Definitely more releases!!!!!
What is you favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Definitely You and I by Lady Gaga. No once can listen to that song and not yell at it.
Name one your strengths?
Being open minded.
Any loves other than music?
Animals. Particularly horses.
Any exiting news you want to share with us?
I have a music video coming out soon!
How’s a typical day in your life?
I’m usually at the barn all day taking care of horses and the rest of my time is dedicated to writing music.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Sleeping in and doing a puzzle.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Fruit I love raspberries and strawberries.
And your favorite cheat food?
Anything with cheese on it.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
To be honest I’ve never been on an actual date so I cant answer that lol.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Gerard way I think he’s an amazing singer and song writer.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
In 5 years I hope to be a better version of who I am now and to be an amazing live performer.
How would you describe your fashion style?
Comfy and black.
What do you think of Social Media?
I like social media it makes me laugh.
