This release follows Ashlee’s latest hit pop single “SAUCY”, which quickly became an anthem for both female empowerment and the LGBTQ+ community during Pride Month. The fierce song represents feeling confident and loving the skin you’re in.

Hi Ashlee, please tell us a little about you?
Hi guys! Well…I’ve always been born to be a performer! Music is my life and songwriting is my therapy. I grew up in a small town in Southern New Jersey. I’ve been in the industry my whole life and started singing at the age of 3 on a tv showcase in Philadelphia on ABC Called Al Albert’s Tv Showcase. By the time I was 6 years old I was cast on Broadway to play Gretl in The Sound Of Music. I’ve been lucky enough to have been on CBS Star Search as a contestant, be on Radio Disney, open for acts like Demi Lovato, Keke Palmer, Raven Symone, Jazmine Sullivan and others as well as become a 2x Billboard charting Pop artist. It’s just the beginning!
Do you play any instrument?
I can play some guitar and a little keyboard by ear.
Tell us about your remake of the classic holiday-single “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town?”
It’s a fun upbeat version that’s pop and mixes with my soulful voice. I decided I wanted to make a danceable version of this remake. It’s kind of like the Santa Claus Is Coming to the club version LOL.
Why did you decide to create this remake of a very popular seasonal song?
I always love creating holiday music and my fans have loved it so far so I decided to release it this year! “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town” is a classic and I love the lyrics.
Now tell us about the success of your previous hit single “SAUCY?”
It’s been amazing! I’m so grateful to see everyone loving the song and the reaction when I perform it! It has over a quarter million streams on Spotify and counting!
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
The fans and seeing them express themselves through my music. I love being a voice to people. Seeing my fans’ reactions to my music and singing the lyrics etc. is EVERYTHING!!!
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Don’t be so hard on yourself. Live in the present moment, work hard, and let life flow/happen. What’s meant to be will be. Continue working hard on your craft/artistry/songwriting. Keep doing YOU, and don’t let other people’s opinions deter you.
When you started your social media accounts, did you expect such a success?
Absolutely not, but also yes! Lol. I have big goals and aspirations for myself, but it’s crazy to see it actually happening when you’ve worked so hard!
What mindsets helped making you so successful?
DETERMINATION, DETERMINATION, DETERMINATION! Also work ethic.
As a popular artist you are followed by so many people. How do you feel about that pressure of doing always the right thing, and encourage people to follow their dreams?
I think it’s a lot of pressure to put on yourself thinking that way. I personally try not to think too much about it. I just do me, and hopefully people like it, and if they don’t that’s okay. You can’t please everyone and we’re all human. Nobody’s perfect. I encourage everyone to always follow their heart and dreams. We only live one life and dreams are meant to be followed with hard work and determination.
How would your best friend describe you?
A real one! Always there for them. Fun.
What’s next for Ashlee Keating in the last months of 2022 and for 2023?
A lot! I have been super busy!! I have another live performance this Saturday night in LA and I’ve been in the recording studio writing and recording constantly the last few weeks! I’m planning lots of exciting things currently for 2023! Stay tuned!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Kale
And your favorite cheat food?
Pasta or pizza. I’m Italian so I love my Italian food
How would you explain your fashion style?
Edgy, chic, and a little street style/urban
Do you support any charity?

Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
A household name. Successful, thriving, touring, doing movies, having collaborations with big brands, a successful entrepreneur, and so much more!
What do you think of Social Media?
I think social media is a great platform to show your talent and get yourself out there, but on the flip side it’s a scary place because we are judging each other constantly on false realities. We aren’t always showing our most genuine true authentic selves, it’s always the best versions of ourselves which becomes a false world. It can really trigger our mental health. I try to be as real and authentic as I possibly can because it’s so important to show and share that. There’s not enough of it.
