Kelly had a breakthrough performance on Showtime At The Apollo on FOX in 2018 which reached 1.3 million viewers. She has also performed at New York Fashion Week at Sony Hall 2022. She has appeared on Fox’s Emmy Award-winning TV show called Teen Kids News. Kelly also received her first Time Square Billboard in NYC on September 26th! She also opened for Ashanti & Ja Rule twice.

Hi Kelly, please tell us a little about you?
I’m a POP/ R&B singer from Atlanta Ga. I’m a very bubbly person , I love to sing songs and I love telling stories through songs.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
R&B/POP/Fun
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
My grandmother influenced me to make music . As far as musicians who inspire me… I grew up loving Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Janet Jackson, Ashanti & Selena. I chose to make music because I love the way music makes me feel!!!
Do you play any instrument?
I used to play the violin in middle school.
Do you ever get nervous?
Yes!!!! But when I do I get out of it the more I get into whatever i’m doing.
Tell us about your new single “I Remember?”
I Remember is a song produced by 7 Aurelius. It’s an amazing song. When I think about the song I think about empowerment to not go back but its move forward!! It’s like super bittersweet!
How was working with Grammy award winning producer 7 Aurelius?
It was so cool!!! So I totally grew up listening to alot of his songs he produced on the radio!!! So it was super exciting. The song is a whole vibe!!!
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
When people say they can relate to the song!!! Or that the song touched them!! Because music is the best way to connect to people in my opinion!!
What book should every entrepreneur read?
What advice would you give to your younger self and why? I would tell my younger self girllllll!!! This is your life!!! Don’t overthink everything . Just keep singing its all going to fall into place in God’s timing. And don’t let what the other kids have to say affect what you know is in your heart.
How would your best friend describe you?
Bubbly, Silly, and Driven, Pure hearted.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
Driven by the music. I would name it that because my life has always been centered around music. My grandma was always singing gospel songs and my grandpa was always playing temptations old soul music, and I gravitated to music no matter where it’s coming from. Music has driven me. My love for it and getting back to how it makes me feel each time. My love for music is what drives me and every decision I make in my life. It has to have my co-star music in it.
What’s next for Kelly Morgan in 2023?
My EP is in the works!! A full body of work!! 🙂
What is your favorite healthy food?
Flatbreads and wraps!!!
And your favorite cheat food?
My guilty pleasure is pasta of all kinds lol!!!
How would you explain your fashion style?
I would say Vibrant , Sparkled out!!
What is your own definition of happiness?
Doing whatever makes my soul happy and not worrying about what someone has to say about it. And if they have something to say, doing it anyway!!!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Beyonce. She is truly amazing. I would love to get her advice on how she navigated through the music industry, and to see how she works!! Because her work ethic is out of this world!! and to hear her sing in person of course lol!! I feel I could learn alot from her.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
Definitely Italy!! I love pasta and water and it just seems like love is everywhere in the air there. And to make a wish at the trevi fountain!! I would go with friends or whoever makes me feel loved!!
Best advice ever given?
My grandmother taught me to always fight for my dream, believers always find their way!!

Stop the Bullying.
Where do you see yourself and your career in 5 years from now?
I see myself the same way I saw myself as a little girl on the grammy stage winning a grammy, and singing and selling out arenas and impacting people with the music I make.
What is you favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Definitely Part of that world by Little Mermaid.
What do you think of Social Media?
I think its a cool way to connect with people. I love it so much it’s helped me so much!!!
