Hi Brianna, please tell us a little about you?
I am a pop singer originally from New Jersey and create music similar to Billie Eilish, Halsey, & Taylor Swift.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Fun, loyal, motivated
How did you get started in the business?
I originally began playing guitar when I was 6 and became a full time musician when I had to retire from college soccer
How has this changed your life?
I never thought in a million years my full-time job would be traveling the world playing songs I wrote and meeting amazing new people everyday.
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
I recorded my debut single “Forever” upon graduating college and it went viral on Instagram. That video really launched my career in the industry.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Dark synth bangers
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I am heavily influenced by Halsey and Fletcher because I want to be the role model for someone that they were for me. I chose music to help people realize it is okay to be yourself.
Do you play any instrument?
I play guitar and piano
Do you ever get nervous?
I never got nervous before shows or releases until the pandemic. It has been a few years since we have toured so I just need to make it through the opening line of the first song and we’ll be good to rock
Tell us about the debut EP “Alter Ego?”
Alter Ego is a self-realization/self-growth storyline that consists of 5 tracks describing the last few years of my life. Beginning with how I was closeted, had terrible anxiety, and no support system I felt I could turn to, to accepting my sexuality, working on grounding techniques, and surrounding myself with trustworthy people. I wanted to create a relatable scenario for so many listeners to feel seen and represented in a topic that is usually swept under the rug.
And about the success of your hit single “Never Stay?”
Never stay was released during the early part of the pandemic where a lot of domestic violence victims were being forgotten about. It is still a terrible issue that many do not acknowledge. I created Never Stay to draw attention to important topics and fundraise for local women’s shelters and safe homes.
What’s the story behind the song?
The story depicts a domestic violence trauma and was created to offer resources to survivors and victims.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
The most rewarding part of my work is when someone random that I probably never would have ever run into in my life takes time to message me that they heard my music and related to it or it helped them get through their day. I can’t help but feel so purposeful when people send me those kind words of affirmation and reassurance that what we are creating is offering value.
What book should every entrepreneur read?
I don’t have time to read haha I am an independent self-funded artist I’m sure there are some great ones out there.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
Trust your gut and make time for the people that are important to you.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
Don’t be so down that you can’t play soccer anymore, you have some very exciting things yet to be experienced and things you never would have dreamed of becoming a reality.
How would your best friend describe you?
I just called her and she said “the best person you could ever have the privilege of knowing” and that made me cry a bit. It was very pure and genuine.
If you are a book, what would be the title of the book and why?
“The unbelievable day in the life of Bri Musco” because the randomest things always happen to me.
What’s next for Brianna Musco in 2022?
We will be releasing a lot of new music, music videos, and acoustic versions of the EP songs. I am so excited for our new merch drop that just came out and will be announcing tour dates for the UK & USA shortly.

My favorite healthy food is grilled chicken
And your favorite cheat food?
I am recovering from an ED as so many young girls are everyday and unfortunately do not feel comfortable answering this question as it may trigger someone’s recovery including myself.

My fashion style is a mix of Femme and Tomboy, I enjoy sparkles and glitter but also think anything looks good with cargo pants.
What is your own definition of happiness?

If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Stevie Nicks, she is iconic and a massive influence on my music journey.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
A dream holiday would be celebrating with family in the Amalfi Coast. My family never really had vacations growing up. We would do day trips to the jersey shore because everything was so expensive. I would love to treat them to a proper holiday one year.
Best advice ever given?
Don’t trust advice from someone that never did it themselves.
