His background as a classically-trained concert/jazz pianist, has led Austin to work with a wide range of talented underground artists, covering genres from Hip-hop, R&B and Rap, he says “I’m just out here making music for myself, and sharing my journey with everyone else,I love people and I hope my music can help them enjoy life to the fullest.”
Immersing himself in creating music to be enjoyed by the masses, Austin has won numerous competitions with his performances, he has performed in cities such as Los Angeles and New Orleans and is looking to further his travels with his musical ability.
Austin’s latest offering comes in the form of feel good pop track Something Good, speaking on the release he says This is just an expression of gratitude towards a significant other. Who has made the biggest impact on your life so far, and why?
Probably my dad. He taught me music ever since i was a baby, and guided me to be a leader ever since.
How did you get started in the business?
I went to a fine arts high school that was really passionate about encouraging their students to be passionate about what they love and building a career out of it.
I started recording songs when I was 14 and just built a brand out of it.
Did you go to music school?
Yes
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Expensive, agile, and exuberant.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
I was really influenced by Michael Jackson and always wanted to perform. I feel like I was born to create.
Do you ever get nervous?
All the time. I’ve been performing regularly since i would play in classical piano competitions as a kid and still get nervous.
What is your next goal as a musician?
I want to build a fan base of 1000 true fans. I want to be real and interact with the people that listen to my work.
Do you have a tour coming up or where we can see you performing?
I don’t, but I’m planning one soon! I want to visit the people that listen to me.

This song is not only a summer hit, but a love story about starting a fire with a person that couldn’t be put out.

Expect a lot more music and a lot more shows. I honesty want to provide the content that expresses my true self, and share that with the world.

True happiness is consistent gratitude and joy no matter the circumstances.
Any loves other than music?
I really love business/entrepreneurship and basketball. I might just be a singer boy but i’m tough to beat 1 on 1.

How’s a typical day in your life?
When i’m not in class i’m always finding something to sell. I love building brands and/or working in the studio creating music.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Church, a little piano practice, basketball, and then a long nap while listening to a documentary.
What is your favorite healthy food?
I’m a huge fan of Chicken and Broccoli for a meal.
And your favorite cheat food?
Definitely fried chicken.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
No ambition.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Steve Jobs. he has one of the most fascinating stories, and I’m obsessed with his vision. I feel like i could learn a lot just to hear about the way he thinks.
Do you support any charities?
I’m really invested with my church. I serve families in need often and actually am on a mission trip right now in Peru!
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself with a fully developed and growing brand. I see myself on stadium tours with my hands in many businesses.
How would you describe your fashion style?
Definitely Atlanta-inspired streetwear with a classy Tom Ford influence
What do you think of Social Media?
I think it’s a wonderful thing. It is the single most important communication device in business and personal lives. I think that people abuse it in that they use it to hide from their issues and try to make themselves look like something they’re not. I struggle with this all the time. It honestly has to be a balance.
