Camryn’s talent shines through in everything she does whether it’s creating her own original music or performing as a member of Acapop! KIDS. The young singer-songwriter was born and raised in New York with a love of music and dreams of taking her talents on-stage. At just 13-years old, Camryn has already proven the immeasurable power and depth of her vocal abilities. Her powerhouse vocals can be compared to that of a young Ariana Grande or Katy Perry. She was even recognized by Glamour Magazine and Zhavia Ward for covering her song.
Camryn wrote and released her first original single “Better Days” at just 10-years old to bring awareness to teen suicide prevention. All proceeds for the song go towards The Muse Within, a local youth music non-profit organization. She followed this heartwarming track with the release of her uplifting single “With You” – which was quick to gain traction across streaming platforms. Camryn’s latest single “Ain’t No Second Chance” takes it a step further showing off her vocal versatility and overall proving that she is a dynamic force to be reckoned with.
Last year, Camryn was selected to be part of Warner Records’ youth acapella group Acapop! KIDS, created by the founding members of Pentatonix. Currently comprised of 25 talented young performers from across the nation, the group delivers acapella versions of current and classic hits.

Describe yourself in 3 words?
Kind hearted, loving, fun.
We’re sure you have been asked this million times but how did you get in the industry?
I started going to auditions in NYC when I was younger and landed a few jobs as jingle singer. I loved recording in the studio and performing, and knew this is what I wanted to do.
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Soulful, Pop, Unique.
Do you play any instruments?
Piano , ukulele, drums and guitar.
Who influenced you and why did you choose to be a songwriter?
Alicia Keys influenced me a lot when I was younger and I wanted to be a singer/songwriter like her.
Now tell us about the Acapop! KIDS group?
There are about 25 cast members that started the group. About 6-10 kids are picked for each song.
How did you got selected to be a part of it?
I went through 3 audition rounds and was notified that I was in the group a few months after the first audition. I was thrilled to be a part of it.
And about your latest original single “Ain’t No Second Chance”?
I wrote this song last summer. It one of my favorites because I love the chord progression and the melody to it.
It’s amazing that at just 10 years old you released you first original single “Better Days,” please tell us about it.
The song was inspired after a young teen in my hometown took her own life. It really touched my heart and I felt I had to do something to help others. The song’s message is that no matter how hard it gets, there are better days ahead.
What are the five things you can’t live without?
Music, friends, family, my dogs and my phone.
What’s next for Camryn Quinlan in 2020?
During quarantine I have written over 20 songs. I am working on releasing new music.
What is your favorite song? And why?
Tiny Dancer by Elton John because it is a timeless song and I love the lyrics and melody so much.
Any loves other than music?
I love painting, baking and hanging with my friends.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Ariana Grande because she is an icon and an inspiration. I admire her drive, style, and voice.
Best advice ever given?
When people show you who they are believe them.
How’s a typical day in your life?
School, homework, lessons or studio , hanging out with my friends on the weekend.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
In the summer- swimming, bike riding and going to the beach to watch the sunset.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Touring the world and sharing my music.
How would you describe your fashion style?
Casual , comfy and relaxed.
What do you think of Social Media?
It can be a good way to share music and ideas, but there are also negatives like hate and cyber bullying.
