Jonita absolutely loves to shop local and support her community in any way that she can. Growing up in the north has had a huge impact on her personal sense of style. She loves to mix high and low end fashion. Mixing high end brands such as Chanel with adorable brands such as Target, put a unique spin on everyday fashion. Charismatic, creative, compassionate.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
Growing up I wanted to be a fashion designer.
How did you get in the industry?
It spiraled from being a passion. I was documenting my life, travels, advice on beauty products and that generated a following.
What is the feeling of being a popular content creator & influencer?
It’s the most amazing feeling when you connect with your followers. They grow to become your family in a way.
What part of your job do you find the most challenging?
Setting boundaries with myself. I want to be honest and real with my followers while still maintaining a personal and business boundary.
What did you learn from your biggest failure?
You have to watch out for yourself as others may not have your best intentions.
Tell us about your company Lemon Poppyseed Girl? And did you think one day will be so popular?
Lemon Poppyseed Girl is an inspiration to all women to get in front of the camera and be the best version of themselves. I do honest reviews, provide the latest trends in fashion and the reality of being a new mom. I never expected such a great following but i am very grateful for it.
What do you think is the secret to have a successful site/social media channels?
Branding is very important. You have to stay consistent with your content and aesthetics. You have to find your niche and focus on that. I am a strong believer in photography.
Best advice ever given?
Be comfortable in your own skin. It’s so important to love yourself before anything else.
What is next for Jonita Hayer in 2020?
New website and E-commerce.
Something people don’t know about you?
I secretly hoard throw pillows.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Gabrielle Bonheur also known as Coco Chanel. Because she was a icon and broke industry standards.
What do you think makes a women beautiful and why?
Confidence is beautiful. A woman that is confident radiates poise, strength and passion.

An invite to fashion week!!!
Do you support any charity?
I love animals and support causes that help them.
How would you explain your fashion style?
I have a feminine style that is eclectic with bright and bold colours.
