Hi Peter, please tell us a little about you?
Hey, thanks for having me! I’m a Vancouver local and have been acting for over fifteen years now. Outside of film I really enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible and staying active.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Optimistic. Caring. Hardworking.
How did you get started into acting?
I took an acting class when I was about seven years old and very quickly fell in love with the craft.
How has this changed your life?
I’ve gotten to meet many interesting people and make awesome memories along the way!
What is the best and worst part of being an actor?
The best part is getting to play pretend all day and call it work. The worst part is that you don’t always get to do it every day.
How do you prepare for a role?
There’s lots that goes into preparing for a role but one thing simple thing I like to use is walking around or doing something that forces you to multitask, that way certain things come more naturally to you.
Tell us about your work in new horror film “Trap House?”
It was a super fun, blood filled, horror where I get to play the lead “Fibs”. Following my journey to save up for college and ending up navigating a booby trapped meth lab, there are tons of crazy moments to keep up with along the way!
How did you got the role and how challenging was the casting?
I had actually just finished filming another feature film in Europe and had to send in the tape just before catching a flight! Other than being pressed for time the audition process went quite smoothly and I heard back shortly after that I’d gotten the part.
Now tell us about your role as Carl Tapper on Netflix’s “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” opposite Kiernan Shipka?
I got to play a real bully at the start of the show but as the seasons went along there had been some growth and Carl got to show a little more of his vulnerable side.
What other projects you have been part of?
I play Steve in Spontaneous, starring Katherine Langford. Tyler Ray in a mental health focused Amazon prime short film called A Million More. Some television movies including Love Unleashed and Web of Dreams and Rise of the Planted of the Apes. And a new project coming soon which I’ll be waiting to announce!
What kind of roles do you like or would like to play and why?
I would love to do more action as I’ve always been into athletics and am very stunt capable. Superhero genre would fit that perfectly.
If you weren’t acting, what would you be up to right now?
Taking my dog to the park, going to the gym, or going to catch a movie with friends. Anything I can do that’s active or share enjoyment with others.
Which fictional character would be the most exciting to meet in real life?
I’ve always loved Spiderman growing up so I’d have to say swing from webs with Spidey.
Can you name 3 actors/actresses you would love to work with?
Ryan Reynolds. Jennifer Aniston. Tom Hanks.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing a story come to life knowing how much work goes in from everybody involved. The process of making it is always a fun ride, then seeing it come together is the cherry on top.
What’s your advice for the newer actors?
I always believe people should chase their dreams. Just don’t give up and keep asking questions.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far in this business?
This business can often feel like there’s so much going on so it’s important to remind yourself that you’re on your own path and trust in it.
What advice would you give to your younger self and why?
To stop worrying so much about the things you can’t control and to focus on what you can.
What’s next for Peter Bundic in 2023?
I’ve got a release coming soon. Can’t say too much about it just yet but very excited to share soon!
What is your favorite healthy food?
I used to eat a lot of chicken and broccoli when playing sports growing up so I’ll always have a special place in my heart for it even though it can be very bland.
And your favorite cheat food?
Pasta and pizza for sure.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Arnold Schwarzenegger. I’ve always looked up to him with movies and bodybuilding since I was a kid. Would be great to share with him how much motivation he’s given me over the years.
