Please tell us a little about you?
I was raised by a single mom who declared bankruptcy when I was 9. My dad was in jail because he was an addict who made bad choices. I remember feeling so bad for my mom. She was working 7 days each week trying to give my brother and I a good life, and it still wasn’t enough. I committed back then that one day I would become rich. I found myself as a young mom at 23 years old and working as an ER nurse. Working 12 hour shifts away from my baby was quickly becoming old. I found direct sales and started selling protein shakes & health coaching on Facebook. I became a millionaire by the time I was 26 doing that.
How did you get started into the business?
I got started through social selling through Facebook in 2011. I was working as an ER nurse and had a one year old son at home and my lifestyle wasn’t what I wanted it to be. On my days off, I would try to step away to spend time with my son but couldn’t get away from the stress of work. So I started posting the motivational quotes I found on Facebook that motivated me and it started to help other people. I then became a health coach and went down that road… that’s where it all began. It always started though adding value to people and helping people.
Tell us about your work as a Leadership and wealth coach?
I look to bring a holistic approach to coaching. I believe that when you work on one area of your life you can create momentum in all the other areas of your life too. I help people increase their income earning potential and create longlasting wealth for their families. This takes a lot of intention and self discipline.
What would say are the greatest lessons you learned so far?
It doesn’t take money to make money. It takes the skill of being able to find the diamond in the rough which is a lucrative opportunity. No one is going to want it more than you want it for yourself. Don’t hire someone thinking they’re going to help you get to where you want to go. You have to put the equity, sweat & discipline in.
Now tell us about your very successful Mommy Millionaire podcast?
We’re on a mission to help women become financially free. We give women advice on wealth mindset while raising a family. I love podcasting because it creates intimacy between you and your audience. It feels like I am talking right to them so it creates a big trust factor – more than any other platform out there.
Any advice to entrepreneurs out there?
You don’t create generational wealth by just making money. You have to decide the plan and then follow the plan. Start now, don’t wait until later. Have several different bank accounts all allocated for different things. Every time you get paid, have it divided into percentages and put it into your bank so you don’t even see it. It works wonders! Evolve or die. Look for ways to evolve and consider how you are helping people within your brand.
What is the most rewarding part of your work?
Seeing people build assets that pay for their lifestyle so they’re not tied to always earning income is most rewarding. That’s where true freedom lies. Then you get to do the work that you are extremely passionate about because you love it- not because you have to do it. When you have financial freedom, you get to spend time with the ones you love the most and that is a beautiful thing.
What’s next for Cayla Craft in 2022?
In 2022, I am helping more Mommy Millionaires get rich through investing and giving them lucrative opportunities that I have already found and vetted for them. Also, I am building a billion dollar empire by creating more multimillionaires.
What is your own definition of happiness?
Being able to feel content while also being completely unsatisfied because you are thirsty for more. That means every day I’m enjoying my life while also open to evolving into more.
