Check out our interview with X Factor Celeb Finalists and TikTok stars Max & Harvey.
With a positive message that everything is going to be alright, ‘Worry A Little Less’ is a feel-good anthem with a killer hook and big energy – just what we’d hope for from the 17-year-old TikTok stars who won over the nation as they sailed to the X Factor Celebrity final last year.
Unbelievably ‘Worry A Little Less’ is their first single of 2020, which despite all the setbacks caused by COVID, has still been a busy year for Max and Harvey. They kicked off things in style with a huge sell out UK tour in January, which included six shows across the country, including London’s Islington 02. During lockdown the boys organized a mammoth 24-hour livestream fundraiser, raising over £8000 for charity.
On top of this they also began work on their first ever podcast – School Daze with Max and Harvey.

Hi Max and Harvey, please tell us a little about you?
We’re twins that used to do musical theatre, we fell into social media and people started to like are videos, maybe a little too much to the point that we gained 6 million followers on one platform
Describe yourself in 3 words?
MAX AND HARVEY
Describe your sound in 3 words?
Relatable, dance, vibessss
Who influenced you and why did you choose to make music?
A mix of our influences came from our Dad, our uncle and our grandad as they’re all very musical and taught us different talents and we chose to use those talents to make music
Tell us about your new single “Worry A Little Less?” What’s the story behind it?
We personally thought that everyone needed a bit of a moral boost with this song and it has such a positive message directed towards the things that have been happening this year so the message is to worry a bit less about the little things in life.
Now tell us about your experience in X Factor Celebrity?
It changed Harvey and I as musicians. It put us under so much pressure with early mornings and late nights, constantly singing and changing things to create more intense tv, and the fact that we went through all of that as 16-year olds and came out 2nd made us think, ‘wow, we might be able to do a lot more than we expected’ and we can’t wait to show people what we’re going to do.
What is fun and rewarding about what you do? And what’s not?
Seeing such positive reactions to our music and videos is so rewarding for us and being able to perform our songs live to such huge audiences, something not as rewarding is if we spend loads of time on something for it to either go wrong or flop on social media because of the new algorithms
Any loves other than music?
I love trampoline parks and doing various sports like football
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Jon Bellion as he’s an artist that I aspire to be like and I love his music
What is your favourite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Definitely Can’t Hold Us by Macklemore
Do you support any charities?
Yes we support quite a few but our main charities are The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital and the Sebastian Actions Trust.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Hopefully progressing with our music and maybe touring an album in bigger venues
How would you describe your fashion style?
We love skatewear (even though we don’t skate) and I just love trying to colour match with unusual colours a lot of the time
What’s next for Max and Harvey in 2021?
Definitely loads of new music and continued series of FOMO and the podcast! And our tour in the summer (if all things Covid have cleared up)
