Hi Isabelle, please tell us a little about you?
I’m twenty years old and I’m the youngest of seven children plus a chocolate lab who we absolutely adore.I’m from a small town in Northeast Pennsylvania. I have six nieces and nephews who love Disney Channel just as much as I do. I attend school online through Penn State University’s World Campus which allows me to travel more often and have a more flexible schedule
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Loving, witty and feminine.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
My parents. They met in high school and have been together since. They raised seven children together and are still best friends.
How and when did you start into modeling?
When I was in high school I got really inspired by the fashion industry, and ever since then it has always been something I’ve wanted to achieve but never thought was realistic. When my sister Abigail moved across the country and made a name for herself that’s when I believed in myself and in my dreams and took a chance.
What we can expect of Isabelle Ratchford in 2016?
I’m in the process of expanding into acting and focusing on enhancing my emotional side. You are all going to see more risks being taken with my modeling as well. Some of my upcoming work will be completely different than any of my pictures before.
Can you describe a typical day in your life?
On the days I don’t have a photoshoot I get up at eight or nine. I do about four hours of school work and then hit a couple hours at the gym.
How close are you with your sister Abigail?
Abigail is truly my best friend. Ever since I was a little girl she has always been one of my biggest inspirations and the person I look up to the most. I have so much love and respect for her. She has unbelieveable drive and I have no doubt she will accomplish anything she puts her mind to.
How was you and your sisters life before going viral worldwide thanks to Instagram?
I can honestly say that life before going viral on Instagram was basically the same. I’m still the same Isabelle that I was before except for entertaining direct messages and perfect strangers knowing my name.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Any kind of fruit or vegetable. My favorites are broccoli, red peppers and purple grapes.
And your favorite cheat food?
Brownie chocolate gelato. It’s my greatest weakness.
What is your best body part?
My eyes.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
I hope to be successful and happy with where I am at that point in my career. I’ve always wanted to be a professional actress so if I keep striving for that with any opportunity I get hopefully that will be waiting for me in the future. Also my ultimate goal is to work with Guess and Sports Illustrated.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Other than my sister Abigail , Miranda Kerr. I think she is incredibly beautiful in a refreshing and natural way.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I love getting to work with such amazing people and getting to try new looks and take risks with hair, makeup and style. It’s so exciting. The only down side is working long hours but in this industry that’s a given so you better like a good cup of coffee.
What’s your advice for the newer models?
Never be afraid to take risks and always be yourself.
What music we can find in your iPod?
I like music from just about every genre but some of my favorites are Frank Sinatra, Billy Joel, The Alabama Shakes, The Beach Boys, and The Rolling Stones.
Do you support any charity?
Yes, The American Diabetes Association.
3 things you can’t leave home without?
Cell phone, makeup and my favorite Hello Kitty Beats.
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Sleep in until ten and have coffee in bed with my favorite book and my favorite Chocolate Lab: Sawyer.
What do you think of Social Media?
I’m a strong supporter of Social Media and I love using it in a positive way to reach out to people. Throughout the course of my career I hope to encourage young children everywhere to feel confident and beautiful in their skin and be who they are.
