My name is Jenasha Roy, I am 13 years old. I was born in Hollywood Florida on February 27th 2004 and currently live in Los Angeles California. I am a Sag Actress, Model, Fashionista & social media influencer.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
I am Confident, Smart, I have a great personality & I’m stylish.
Who is your biggest supporter?
My biggest supporters are God, my parents & my two sisters.
How did you get started in the industry?
I started Modeling in Miami at the age of 7 where I did my first commercial for “Miami children’s hospital” & a few print ads.
What was your first acting role?
My first acting role was a tv commercial for “Miami children’s hospital.”
What is the best and worst part of being an actress/model?
The best part is when I get to see myself on Television, Flyers & at stores etc. The worst part is when it’s raining and they delay.
Best advice ever given?
Best advice ever given was when I was on set shooting for Volkswagen I was told, “stay focused you’re doing great kid” by the legendary country singer Willie Nelson.
What has been your most memorable experience from a set so far?
I was shooting for a Fox television tv show “Fresh Off The Boat” I got to ride the whole day with a crew member on a golf cart, It was so much fun! Which I never did on another shoot.
You also worked with NFL superstar Cam Newton on the Nickelodeon “Real Kids Rule” pilot. Tell us about it?
Me and my sister Briana Roy alongside other kids talents shot a project with NFL player Cam Newton.
It was a non scripted project where kids got to be themselves and take over anything they feel like they are better at. By example us we think we are better at Cooking so we took over mom’s kitchen and cooked meals according to us and mom had to roll with us same as Cam Newton he just had to roll with it too.He is such a goofy person, playful and he was pretty much carrying himself as one of us throughout the whole shoot.
What other projects you have been part of?
I went on “Fablife show” with my sister Briana Roy where we did a segment called “Kid Diy sisters” the show was hosted by Supermodel Tyra Banks, Chrissy Teigen, Lauren Makk ,Joe Zee and Leah Ashley and it’s on YouTube.
Recently I booked the role of “Young Sommer” in the sag feature film “Always & 4ever” which I’m excited about. The film is set to come out some time in April or May Nationwide in theaters. So many actors play in it such as Lauren London, Robbie Jones, Loretta Devine, Deborah Ayorinde whom by the way I play the younger version of & the film is directed by Chris Stokes.
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
Hmmm there are so many great Actors who inspire me but let me just say a couple for now. Robert Downey Jr & Taraji P Henson & I also love the talented cast of “American Horror story”! And don’t forget “Stranger Things” which is my thing now!
What’s next for Jenasha Roy?
I know god has a lot in store for Jenasha Roy. I must say. Right now I’m about to do a photoshoot for a print Ad for very nice client that I cannot disclose.
What music do you like?
I like artists such as Ariana Grande, Halsey & Twenty pilots.
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
My idea of a perfect Sunday has to be waking up attending mass at church & binge watching Netflix with snacks.
How’s a normal day in your life?
A normal day in my life is finishing my school work, jumping on the trampoline, jamming to music with my sister & hula hooping oh! And I can’t forget about shopping but just a little bit!
What is your favorite healthy food?
Salmon & brown rice.
And your favorite cheat food?
A grilled cheese.
How do you see yourself in 5 years?
I will keep working as a Sag Actress, hopefully start a clothing line with my sister, starting an organization & being on a successful tv show.
Do you support any charities?
I do. I volunteer at “Inspire Cali” & always make appearances to show my support to a few other Organizations for charities when they have events and later I want to have my own charity to support non fortunated kids in Haiti.
