A lot of people don’t know that I have 6 older brothers and sister. My family is pretty private so people just assume I’m an only child.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
A deal breaker for me on the first date is splitting the bill or just having zero chemistry with the other person.

Did you always want to pose for Playboy?
No, I didn’t always want to shoot for Playboy. I grew up in a very religious household and I was taught that as a woman my duty was to never have another woman’s man want me. As I got older I realized that was impossible. I could be in gym clothes and no makeup and still see other women’s men checking me out. In December I wrote out a list of things I wanted to accomplish in 2018. I decided I would do the unthinkable and shoot for this very scandalous publication and I wanted the cover, not just a pictorial.
What was the feeling to appear in the Cover?
When I finally saw the cover I was thrilled! I’m a hard worker and a goal-getter so I can’t say I was shocked. I really enjoying putting intention into what I want and watching my dreams come to fruition.
Now this is an entirely un-retouched shoot emphasizing natural beauty. I think that’s amazing and you look stunning. What do you think of it and if it was your idea to do no retouched photos?
I’m not entirely against retouching. I’m a human-being here on planet Earth and sometimes humans need a pick me up. I’ve had a break out right before a shoot. I’ve had to travel all night to get to set by dawn so I’ve showed up with bags the size of balloons. Those things I think are great for retouching. However, I’m in an industry of over-editing. I don’t believe in shrinking waists or drastically changing the model’s appearance. In the end I feel we still need to look human.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”24835″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]What other magazines have you been in over the course of your career?
I’ve been in so many magazines over the course of my career. I’ve shot major campaigns in Europe that made it in top magazines such as Vogue, Glamour, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, etc. I’ve also shot for GQ Italia.
And which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?
I have a ton of things I still intend to accomplish in my career. I’m a writer and a model, but I’ll be a director one day. It’s a huge goal for anyone, but I know with intention and drive I can really do anything that I want in life.
And now tell us about the “El Prestamo” music video with Latin superstar Maluma?
Working on the set of El Prestamo was a lot of fun for me creatively. I did all of my own stunts in this miniature action packed film. It was thrilling and challenging, but I couldn’t have dreamed of a better storyline.[/vc_column_text][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-BQJo3vK8O8″ title=”Maluma – El Préstamo (Official Video)”][vc_column_text]How was working with him?
It was really great to work with Maluma. He’s a hard worker and very humble. You don’t come across people like him in this industry every day. I was honored.
Is this your first music video?
This was my first music video and it’ll be very difficult to beat it if I ever decided to do another one.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
If I could meet someone living or dead it would still be NAS. I just love him and his music. He’s a lyrical genius. I feel like when I listen to rap today it just doesn’t speak to me like back in the day.
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is…?
My idea of a perfect Sunday: wake up early, make coffee and breakfast for my boyfriend and I to enjoy in the garden. After breakfast, I’d like sit and write for my show for a few hours, tend to the garden, and maybe get some painting in. Ending the day with pasta, wine, and a soak in our jacuzzi.
What is your favorite healthy food?
My favorite healthy food would be kale. I put it in my juices, smoothies, and make salads with it.
And your favorite cheat food?
My favorite cheat food is really anything bad. I have an addiction to Hot Cheetos. I’m in love with chocolate croissants. Also, I have a hard time saying no to donuts. (Now my mouth is watering)
What is your own definition of happiness?
Happiness is a hard one to define, but I’ll give it a go.
I feel the happiest when I’m working often and creating.
I’m happiest when I feel loved by my friends, my man, and my family.
I feel happiest when I give back to the community.
Do you support any charities?
I do support charities financially and hands on. In all my interviews I always speak highly of the Jack Brewer Foundation. They’re so incredible and I’ve traveled with them to Haiti see the progress for myself and was just blown away. I encourage everyone to check out their work and try to get involved whether that be financially or donating your time.
What’s the advice you live by?
Advice I always live by: “There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man; true nobility is being superior to your former self.”- Ernest Hemingway
Who is your favorite Actor/Actress? And why?
My favorite actress is Meryl Streep. She’s changed the roles she’s taken over the years and has always progressed in her field. She’s just a badass!
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
My biggest beauty inspiration would have to be Monica Bellucci. She’s a classic beauty who has always embraced her natural curves. She’s chosen to age gracefully which isn’t normal for people in my generation. I’d like to think I’ll always take care of myself and stay all natural, loving my wrinkles along the way.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
To be honest, I don’t really look up to too many people in the modeling industry. However, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is someone who kills me with every post. She has the greatest style in the word!!! Isabel Marant is my favorite designer right now. She’s makes high-end clothing that is still appropriate for everyday attire. Her boots are KILLER too!
How would you describe your fashion style?
I’d describe my style as simple, elegant, and easy going. I enjoy wearing all black, jeans and a shirt with designer shoes/boots. Then, dress it up with some expensive bling.
Five years from now you will be….
5 years from now I’ll be a head writer on a TV series and maybe starting my family.
What do you think of the Social Media?
I used to say I HATE SOCIAL MEDIA! I even deleted my Instagram a few times along with Twitter and Facebook, but what I’ve learned is that you can make it whatever you want. I can promote things I’m passionate about. Post all the great places I’ve visited and share with the world my thoughts on current affairs. Now, I don’t hate it as much. ; )
