I’m Lindsey. I’m a Taurus. I have a very cute dog named Tosh.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Quick-witted, Goofy, Empathetic.
Who has been the biggest influence on your life?
Obviously my parents and siblings growing up. I’d say my friends now.
When you were a kid what did you want to be when you grew up?
I flip-flopped between school teacher and pop singer. Haha
What did you learn from your biggest failure? (if any)
I think most failures have taught me that time is healing. I think relationship-specific failures have taught me so many things like how to be less selfish and how to not cross the line in conflicts… I’m proud of that one.[/vc_column_text][vc_single_image image=”24309″ img_size=”large”][vc_column_text]What is your own definition of happiness?
I think you’d find happiness in moments when your mind is at ease. Those few moments when you’re not thinking about or searching for anything and you’re just living in the moment… It’s those times when you think “This couldn’t get any better”.
How and when did you start into modeling and fitness?
I began modeling in my college years. I lived in Louisiana and I would take any cheesy modeling job I could.
I’ve always been athletic but I think my junior year in college I took it to the next level. I started lifting weights, I took a class for 2 years at LSU on aerial silks, I even taught aerial yoga for a while.
What is the biggest highlight of your career so far?
I think making my 2017 swimsuit calendar was really cool for me… but getting asked to do Erika Jayne’s music video was up there!
What is your workout routine these days?
I’ve really been switching it up lately. I take Pilates and hot yoga classes and I also go to Barry’s boot camp once a week. I also visit a personal trainer and do the traditional gym.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Lentils! They are filled with protein and fiber and I think it tastes amazing!
And your favorite cheat food?
Probably Taco Bell haha
Now tell us about your DIRTY SOUTH calendar? And where we can buy it?
My DIRTY SOUTH calendar was shot in my home state of Louisiana. Every month was shot in or near New Orleans and it’s all very authentic to the south. You can buy it on my website lindseypelas.co
We recently saw you on E!’s “Famously Single”?. Tell us about it
“Famously Single” was a really interesting experience. Calum Best and I have had an on-off relationship and he’s a cast member again this season. We get the chance to go on a few dates and see how we feel about each other.
What magazines have you been in over the course of your career?
I’ve actually only been in a few! I’ve been featured in Fighter’s Only, Lowrider magazine when I needed modeling jobs haha. Digital media has kind of stolen the spotlight for me but there is a nice novelty associated with print.
And which magazine or project is still on your bucket list?
I’m still a big fan of Maxim. I also always wanted to do a Carl’s Junior commercial but I think they’re steering away from the sexy ads right now…I also love Treats magazine and the newly designed Playboy.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
I hope in five years I’ve shifted to television a bit more. There’s a lot of opportunity with reality television that I’m excited about.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
All of the Real Housewives. Haha. I’m obsessed with them.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
I’ll always look up to Kate Upton, I think she’s stunning and kind. I also love Stormi Bree, she’s so chic and effortlessly cool to me. I’m obsessed. As far as designers, I honestly don’t have a favorite. I’ve never paid attention to labels, and I love wearing things that make me feel comfortable and confident!
How would you describe your fashion style?
I wear what fits my mood. I really like simple and sexy looks. My favorite outfit is this tight knee-length black dress that I could easily wear to a meeting or a night out. The simpler, the better.
What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?
I have to have concealer. I wear MAC pro-longwear. I also HAVE to have my Dior Iconic Overcurl mascara. It’s amazing. Third is my Anastasia Beverly Hills brow gel.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
Modeling is fun and rewarding because it’s an opportunity to be creative. You also get to work with people who are really passionate about their products or clothes and it’s nice to be a part of someone’s dream in a way. The downside to modeling is just dealing with weirdos on the internet. Haha
What’s your advice for the newer models?
Be patient.
What music do you like?
I really like hip-hop. Nothing makes me happier than Rick Ross or 2 Chainz… A lot of the time I’m playing 90’s though.
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
I would love to meet Tyler Henry, the medium.
Something people don’t know about you?
I have a history degree. Also people are surprised I’m so nice. That’s weird but they’re always telling me that.
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
Negging me in any way.
Do you support any charity?
I do. I’ve visited the Midnight Mission in Los Angeles and they’re doing amazing things for the homeless community. I think the last monetary donation I made was to the IRC after the devastation in Aleppo…
3 things you can’t leave home without?
My cell, keys, ID
Idea of a perfect Sunday?
Netflix, Hot tub, Oreos in no particular order
What do you think of Social Media as you are a huge influencer in this category?
Although I benefit from it, I think social media has turned from fun activity to all-consuming. I kind of fear what it may turn into in the future and sometimes wish it didn’t exist. That’s pretty somber, I know. lol
