“The Tribes of Palos Verdes” focuses on the lives of two teenagers who move to Palos Verdes, an affluent suburb of Los Angeles. Their mother (Jennifer Garner) teeters on the brink of a nervous breakdown, while their father becomes a surgeon to the stars. One of the teenagers, Medina, turns to surfing to escape her troubled home life. Loren plays Gina, a member of the tennis club that their mother dislikes. The film, also starring Alicia Silverstone and Elisabeth Rohm.

I’m an actress, born in Liverpool, England. I currently split my time between Los Angeles and New York! My latest film, “The Tribes of Palos Verdes”, will be coming out this year.
Describe yourself in 3 words?
Intuitive, creative and passionate.
How did you get started acting?
I starting acting in school in plays when I was younger, but the first acting school I studied at was Lee Strasberg.
Did your family support your decision to become an actress?
Yes, I’m lucky they have been very supportive of my career!
How do you usually prepare for a role?
I will get together with my teacher to go over the role. A lot of preparation goes into every role!
Tell us about “The Tribes of Palos Verdes” and about your role as Gina?
The film is about a family who move to Palos Verdes. The mom, played by Jennifer Garner, is on the edge of a nervous breakdown and the father is a surgeon to the stars. Their teenage daughter turns to surfing to escape her troubled home life. I play Gina who is one of the tennis ladies at the club who annoys Jennifer Garner’s character.
How was working with big names in the industry like Jennifer Garner and Alicia Silverstone?
I had a couple of scenes with Jennifer. She was lovely to work with and I love her character in this film.
What role would you love to play that you haven’t yet?
There are so many different characters I’d like to play but it would be fun to play a bad ass!
What advice would you give to those who want to be in this business?
Follow your dreams and don’t give up.
What are the 3 things you can’t live without?
There are so many things I can’t live without! Sunscreen, exercise and sparkling water are definitely essentials.
What’s your typical day like?
My days are forever changing. I’m between Los Angeles and New York, so if I’m in Los Angeles I love to get out and hike!
What’s something people don’t know about you?
I’m scared of bugs!

Doing my craft and having fun with the people I love around me.
What is your favorite healthy food?
Avocado
And your favorite cheat food?
Chocolate
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Marilyn Monroe.
What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?
I have to have a great moisturizer, Josie Maran face cream and Clarins lip treatment.
What kind of music do you like? What are your favorite musicians/bands?
I used to DJ so l love music! I have an eclectic range from electronic to rock to pop that I love.
What’s your idea of a perfect Sunday?
A late lunch with friends and then a movie!
Do you support any charities? If so, tell us a bit about them.
I support St Judes, UNICEF and WWF. It’s hard to see anyone suffering, but especially children and animals. We are all so fortunate, so it’s nice to help others in need as much as you can.
Do you have any other hobbies?
I love training in martial arts when I can. It’s such a fun way to get fit.
