Bure is an up-and-coming role model for young adults. Readers will recognize the outgoing teen from her popular YouTube channel, which launched in 2014 and gave viewers a real-life look into her daily life. Others might know her from season 11 of the hit show, The Voice and her performance with Grammy Award winning ‘for KING & COUNTRY’ on The View, featuring her famous actress mom and former co-host, Candace Cameron Bure.

Tell us about your book “Let’s Be Real?”
My book is all about being real just like the title says. I wanted to use my platform to bring light to topics that teens struggle with every day. Social media is a huge part of my book and over the past 3 years my following has really grown. With that, I would get comments saying things like “you’re perfect” just based off of what they are seeing on my Instagram, YouTube, or twitter. In reality, my life is so far from perfect. I struggle and deal with things in my life that are probably what other teens are struggling with too! I wanted to shed light on that. I want to be real with other people and not make my life seem like its filter perfect. I want to be honest with who I am, including the flaws and quirks about me.

What’s your favorite chapter of the book?
My favorite chapter is probably either the dating and relationships chapter or the faith chapter. There is some funny stories in the dating and relationships chapter that I think people will really love. The faith chapter is super close to my heart and allowed me to breakdown some harder times in my life.
Do you plan to keep writing books?
Yes! I would love to write another book. This first book was a great learning experience, but if I wrote another I would have a completely different mindset going into it- now that I know how it all works!
How was the experience of Season 11 of “The Voice?”
It was a beautiful experience filled with laughter, excitement, nerves, and friendships that I know will last me a lifetime. I had a great experience on the show, meeting other artists and becoming best friends with them. I learned so much about myself during that season and I am so glad I was able to be a part of it.
Any future plans for your musical career?
Absolutely! I have music that I am working on, so hopefully it will be released in the next couple of months!
How and when did you start modeling? What advice would you give to those who want to be in this business?
I actually started modeling when I was pretty little. I have little Polaroid test shots of me when I was 5 or 6. I took a break from it when I was around 10, and now I just model for fun. I would love to get back into it though. It’s such a great art form and creating different looks for photography is always fun. My advice for anyone who wants to be in the business is to stay true to who you are and to work your hardest.
What are the 3 things you can’t live without?
My phone, my family, lip balm.
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
I see myself hopefully on some sort of music tour, releasing music, performing, and being in the most creative zone I’ve ever been in. Hopefully, I’ll have a boyfriend by then as well. In five years, I hope I’m happy and I hope that I made the past five years’ worth it!
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Gigi Hadid is someone who always looks beautiful so I would have to say Gigi. All her looks are gorgeous.
Who are some of your favorite models and designers, and why?
Gigi Hadid and Barbara Palvin are two of my favorite models. They’re both so elegant and beautiful. As far as designers go, I’m a huge Tommy Hilfiger fan.
What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?
Lip balm, body moisturizer, and travel sized everything.
What is fun and rewarding about modeling? And what is not?
I love seeing the final project of a shoot and seeing the end result of the entire day that you spent in front of a camera. It’s fun because you can see all the creativity in one single photo and that’s beautiful. I think the only thing that isn’t super fun is if the photos don’t come out how you wanted. I’ve had that happen a few times and it is always a bummer.
And which project is still on your bucket list?
Be a covergirl of a major fashion magazine and go on an international music tour.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
