Hi Olivia please tell us a little about you?
Hey! My name is Olivia Mayron-Mort and I’m 17 years old. I have a brother who is two and a half weeks older than me, It’s a long story. His name is Miles and were really close except when we argue about music.
So how did it all begin?
I grew up with two moms in the entertainment industry and so my passion for acting came naturally to me.
Tell us about your character in “6 rounds of Chloe”
My character is Chloe and she is a smart, kind, and serene girl who has a passion for writing just like her father. She cares deeply about family and is trying to reunite and repair her relationship with her father, who is diagnosed with cancer.
What the movie is about?
6 Rounds of Chloe is a touching story about a father and daughter who had grown distant but his diagnosis of cancer, as upsetting as it was for her, gave Chloe something she always wanted, time with her father.
How did you got involved in this project?
My agent and manager submitted me for the part of Chloe. The producers looked at a lot of my material and when I read the script I really felt a connection to Chloe and luckily for me I guess the producers did too!
Any loves other than acting?
I really love all forms of the arts. I have been studying drawing since I was eight years old and it has become an important part of my life. I also love photography and music and have even written a few songs.
What’s the best part of being an actress?
I love to lose myself in a character and I really enjoy being able to tell a story through my acting. There’s something really special in letting go of myself and becoming someone else in another life, in another world.
Something people don’t know about you?
I have two moms and a brother but a few years ago I learned that I have two additional half brothers who live in Oregon. My parents and their parents talked and we all spent a christmas together. It turned out that my parents had used the same donor as they did and we have mutual close family friends that connected us. One of those brothers taught me how to throw a football. It was wild.
Best advice ever given?
The best advice I was ever given is that nothing is permanent. It has made me appreciate everything in my life, the good and the bad.
What do you think of Social Media?
I think that Social Media is a great way to keep in contact with people but it should not be the main focus of our life.
Where we can follow you?
My instagram is olivia_may14.
