Any advice to other people thinking of sharing their lives on TV?
My advice would be if you’re going to do a reality TV show, don’t do it for money or fame, do it because you feel like you have a message to share with the audience and it’s something you would enjoy calling your job. Go in with no expectations and just be yourself.
What can we expect for the new season of “RHOD”?
I think viewers are going to be pleasantly surprised, this is a whole new season with a whole new twist. Season 1 was all about the charity world in Dallas, and while the charity scene is huge in Dallas, there are other stories to be told. I am really excited to see how it plays out, but I think that the Dallas community is going to be really happy with what they see and how Dallas is represented.
Which project is still on your bucket list?
My dream would be to have my own clothing line. I am a total girly girl, and living in a house full of boys, my closet is my safe place. So I would love to partner with a brand or collaborate on something, just to let my creative side out, and make it a passion project.

I see beauty in many different ways. Beauty is far deeper than the skin and physical attributes. Beauty comes from being a kind person, treating others the way you want to be treated and showing everyone respect.
Who is your biggest beauty inspiration?
Blake Lively is just stunning! She is always so classy, looks gorgeous in everything, and has the most beautiful clothes.
Who are your favorite designers?
I am an Alexander McQueen girl all the way. I love how fun and flirty his pieces can be, while still having an edgy vibe. I am obsessed with Victoria Beckham’s dresses, they fit like a glove and are always so classy. I also really love Dior, I mean, what girl doesn’t?
What are your makeup bag staples when traveling?
SPF is a must, I can’t leave the house without my Cle de Peau lip gloss, and Dior mascara.
What is your favorite healthy food?

And your favorite cheat food?
I am so bad about cheat food because it’s not even cheating at this point, it’s like a regular thing! Ha-ha! I love chocolate, and I am always snacking on chips, but my favorite would probably have to be Taco Bell. I love me some Taco Bell!
3 things you can’t leave home without?
My phone, wallet and sunglasses! All three very important!
In five years from now, where do you see yourself and your career?
Honestly in 5 years I just want to be happy, whether it be on “Real Housewives of Dallas,” or as a stay at home mom, or even just continuing my blog, I just want to be happy. Maybe something fun in fashion?
What would be a deal breaker on a first date?
Raising two boys, this is something I think about a lot, because one day they are going to start dating, so I want them to know how to treat a lady. For me, being chivalrous is everything. Opening the door, making sure you get home okay, and just showing respect to others.
What is the stupidest thing you’ve ever done?
Let a camera crew into my house to film me for four months! Ha-ha!
What was the last book you read?
My kids are really into the Biscuit book series right now, and we read them every night. They are obsessed.
What would be the dream holiday, and who would you go with?
I would love to visit Australia, that is one place I haven’t been to yet that I am dying to see. And I would love nothing more than to go with Travis, my wonderful husband. We love to see the world together, and try new things. He truly is my best friend!
What are your hobbies?
I have really been working hard on my fashion blog, and I absolutely love that. It’s something that I have fallen in love with since the show, and I really love doing it. I love giving fashion advice and sharing my outfits and tips with others. It also gives me an excuse to shop 😉
Your idea of a perfect Sunday is?
Snuggled up in bed with my boys, watching a movie, and a glass of wine in my hand.
What is your favorite song to belt out in the car/for karaoke?
Chandelier by Sia, I kill it every time!
If you could meet someone living or dead, who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey, I love her! I think she is empowering, kind and someone I’ve always looked up to. I admire her because she is someone who went through a lot of horrible things in her life and she used that to help others and make an impact in people’s lives in a positive way.
How do you stay fit?
I try to do one half marathon a year. I know a lot of people don’t like working out, but I love it! It has become a great release for me.
What do you do in your free time?
When I have some, I’ll let you know 😉
What do you like to watch on TV?
I am a reality TV junkie! I watch every season of the “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette”! I am also a huge fan of the other Real Housewives shows. My husband makes fun of me because I get all into the other cities and their drama, and then I’m like “Wow, I’m glad I’m not on that show” Ha-ha!
Do you support any charities?
Travis and I have two charities that are very near and dear to both of our hearts, Big Brothers Big Sisters and The Family Place. Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that helps kids in the community by providing a role model in the child’s life and The Family Place is a domestic violence organization in the Dallas area.
What do you think of Social Media?
I love social media. It is a place for me to connect with fans of the show and share what’s going on in my life when the cameras aren’t rolling.

Travel destination: I love Paris. It is romantic. You walk everywhere, they have the best wine, you have three hour lunches, and your husband has to talk to you because you don’t have cell phone reception! Ha-ha!
Restaurant: I have two young boys, so we live in the McDonalds drive thru! But when Travis and I are able to step away for a date night, we love sushi!
