At the 2024 Sundance Film Festival, the Black Keys headlined two nights of “The Premiere Series” at The Marquis Park City to launch the new state-of-the-art music venue, with Gabe Carter opening.
Emmanuelle Chriqui, Matt Bellamy, Bijou Phillips, Billy Magnussen, Will Forte, Pauly Shore, Peter Shore, Paul Oakenfold, Caroline D’Amore, ‘Lolla’ producer Brian Levy, Jason ‘Jroc’ Craig, Dylan O’Brien, Victoria Pedretti, Joel Michaely, and others attended The Black Keys’ intimate, sold-out shows. Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, an Akron, Ohio rock duet, performed each night to a crowded house with a full band and state-of-the-art lighting.
Every night, the renowned rock band performed for 75 minutes before the club yelled “one more song.” The Marquis PC, in partnership with LNE Presents, offers a unique, intimate concert experience with top artists like The Black Keys that you would only find in large arenas, grand concert venues, and festivals.
Film.io, the world’s first powerful decentralized filmmaking ecosystem, put Hollywood decision-making in the hands of creators and fans! Ambassadors engaged concertgoers to demonstrate their unique platform. Red Bull Energy and Tito’s Vodka were featured all night.
The Black Keys also performed during the festival to promote their new album and support the new Lolla documentary. Fans, tastemakers, VIPs, filmmakers, cinephiles, and locals were in attendance.
The Black Keys were the first rock band to perform at the new venue on historic main street, which opened the festival with R&B Sensation Leon Bridges presented by Chase Sapphire the night before. DJ Duo Odesza, Devo, Illenium, and Kaskade will perform EDM this weekend. Before their Sundance 2024 debut, Nas performed over New Year’s weekend to soft-open the venue. Also planned are Steve Aoki, Dirty Heads, and Goldfish concerts.
