The Haunting Spectacle: “The Haunted Hotel” Lights Up The Ned NoMad
In the heart of New York City, Halloween took on a glamorous twist this year. Over the weekend, The Ned NoMad teamed up with The Box for a Halloween extravaganza christened “The Haunted Hotel.” Hosted and orchestrated by Richie Akiva, this spine-chilling soiree became the talk of the town.
Halloween festivities began on October 27th, 2023, with the rapper G-Eazy leading the charge, marking the beginning of the eerie affair. What made it even more tantalizing was the pouring of the most celebrated tequila in history, Cierto Tequila. The following night witnessed a constellation of stars—models, actors, influencers, and more—all dancing away amidst the haunting ambience. Among the renowned attendees were rapper Maino, Ice Spice, UFC Fighter Dillon Danis, Lexi Wood, Victoria Dumana, Imaan Hammam, Ava Rudawsky, Izzy Metz, Bella Banos, Michelle Connelly, Kailyn Shepherd, CT Hedden, Hannah Grant, Eleonora Srugo, Daniela De Jesus Cosio, Isadora Amorim, Liv Constance, Pia Host, Mariah Castro, Jessica Whitehead, Maxwell Osborne, Kim Dammer, Vincenzo Dimino, Yuna Pash, Stevie Guttman, Katy Chertok, Kornelia Ski, Lameka Fox, Meredith Duxbery, Jaclyn Breen, Sergio Farias, Megha Bajaj, Kristina Niko, Nicole Papadogiannis, Chloe and Gia Vizzone,Emmalynne Walpole, Cat Warrian, Samantha Kroontje, comedian Mike Young, and a myriad of other celebrated personalities.

This year’s design showcased Richie Akiva’s creative genius in tandem with Outside The Box Amusements. Their combined vision morphed The Ned NoMad into a scene straight out of a horror movie: a devilish poker game, zombie bellhops, and an array of spine-chilling setups, ensuring every corner echoed with screams and laughter.
Located in the historic NoMad district, every space within The Ned NoMad, from The Magic Room to The Library and even the entire second floor, was consumed by the haunted theme. As the members reveled on the 27th, the VIPs took over on the 28th. All through the nights, Cierto Tequila ensured spirits were high, while the phenomenal music kept everyone on their toes.
This partnership between The Ned’s Richie Akiva and The Box, bolstered by Outside The Box Amusements, marked its second year in 2023. Their collaboration offered partygoers a unique, immersive experience, setting new standards for Halloween parties.
