Keep it simple
Minimalism is ideal for small spaces, because minimalist rooms always feel so airy, regardless of their size. To make your space seem even bigger, opt for natural-looking neutrals, or even black and white palettes. Adding large windows will not only make your home more modern, but it will invite more light into your home and help you feel more at one with nature.
Use suitable appliances
When you live in a tiny house, you have to deal with a small kitchen. But just because your kitchen isn’t grand, doesn’t mean it cannot be highly functional. Nowadays, there are plenty of compact kitchen appliances on the market, from wall ovens to dishwashers. They will help you save space and still keep all of the essentials. If you wish, you can raise your kitchen to visually separate it from other areas in your home. This will provide you with plenty of storage space underneath this area.

Get fold-out furniture
Do you like to entertain? Having company in a tiny house is a challenge, but it is far from impossible. If your friends often come over, make sure to create additional seating with pull-out benches or wall-mounted seating options. A pull-out bed is also an amazing space saver and is ideal for tiny homes. If you work from home but do not have room for a standard desk, install a wall-mounted folding desk that you can quickly put away when you are not using it.
Organize your laundry room
Since a washer and dryer will already take up a lot of space, you have to be creative to turn your laundry room into a practical area. A pull-out ironing board is convenient not only for ironing but also for sorting clothes between loads. To maximize this space, install a wall-mounted drying rack or mount a repurposed ladder to the wall for additional drying space. Since you will need space for all those detergents, soaps, and dryer sheets, think about attaching magnetic storage containers to the sides of your washer and dryer.
By downsizing and moving into a tiny home, you will decrease your workload, increase your cash flow, and as a result, reduce stress.
