Women’s Empowerment Council (WE Council) is an organization dedicated to empowering women in all aspects of life, including business, education, careers, and leadership. Established as recently as 2022, the WE Council has already united over 1,200 women from 60 countries worldwide, empowering them to overcome systemic barriers, take on leadership roles, and launch businesses.
The WE Council’s mission
The Women’s Empowerment Council aims to promote women’s leadership and entrepreneurship worldwide, including:
- Holding regular off-site conferences with invited speakers so participants can network, exchange valuable experiences, and draw inspiration from prominent role models. One of the noteworthy events, the WE Convention, took place in Dubai on March 7-8; it attracted more than a thousand successful women, including notable figures such as Maye Musk, Natalia Vodianova, Roisin Ngirimu, and many others.
- Making sure that free education is accessible to all. The organization assists women in exploring new professions and areas like digital marketing, sales, investing, and soft skills in partnership with the international platform Lectera.
- Conducting webinars and assigning collective mentors to participants so that women can fearlessly explore new fields, including traditionally male-dominated ones, with the encouragement of like-minded people.
- Providing helpful information, interviews with notable personalities, and scientific articles with insight into women’s modern status and challenges in different countries.
Among the core objectives of the WE Council is to promote equality, diversity, and inclusivity among all individuals on this planet, not only for women but also for everyone else. According to the central principle of WEC, poor or rich, young or old, shouldn’t determine a person’s capacity to achieve self-realization. Every person should have access to professional knowledge and career opportunities.
WE Convention celebrates the leadership and achievements of women
One of the significant events organized by the WE Council is the WE Convention, an event dedicated to recognizing women as leaders and achievers. Biannual conferences take place at prestigious hotels worldwide, and the latest event was held in Dubai in March 2023. It featured presentations from over 100 influential speakers, 20 practical workshops covering various development areas, and a gala dinner with the Dior fashion show. Many prominent female figures attended the event, including actress and director Renata Litvinova, Elon Musk’s mother, entrepreneur May Musk, Wildberries marketplace founder Tatyana Bakalchuk, and supermodel Natalia Vodianova. These conferences aim to foster valuable business connections and knowledge exchange among representatives from different countries and industries, encourage inspiration, boost motivation, and offer moral support from women who share similar interests and values.
The WE Convention, scheduled for spring 2024 in Dubai, promises to present even more distinguished professionals and speakers.
